Cohen came to Manlius in 1914 and opened a dry goods store. In 1923, he moved to Syracuse. He founded East Syracuse Chevrolet Sales Inc. in 1929. He was a member of Temple Adath Yeshurun, Philo Lodge 968 the Syracuse Automobile Dealers Association and the LaFayette Country Club.

Surviving are his wife. Sadie; a daughter, Mrs. Abraham A. Altman of Cazenovia; and two grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m.

in St. Therese DONALD L. GEORGE Donald George Dies at 49, Rites Friday Services for Donald L. George, 49, of 5970 Cherry Valley Road, LaFayette, who died Monday at his home, will be at the convenience of the-family Friday at Mercer Funeral Home, Phoenix, Ariz. Burial will be in Phoenix.

Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. today at Hall Funeral Home, 6033 Cherry Valley Road, LaFayette. Mr. George was born in Newton, Kan. He moved to LaFayette in 1970.

He was the Veterans Administration's chief prosthetic representative for the 18-county Central New York region, which includes tiicVA hospital here. He lost his right leg in action inthePhillipinesinWoridWar II. He decided to specialize in prosthetics after the war. He was a prosthetic representative for the Veterans Administration 28 years. He acted as a liaison between disabled veterans and physicians.

Mr. George worked in Los Angeles, Phoenix and the Philippines. Surviving are his wife, the former Alice Laumb; three daughters, Mrs. Tony Luch-ango of Manila, Philippines, Gayle of Phoenix, and Mrs. Louis Hansen of Boise, Idaho; a son, Donald of Boise; two brothers, Paul of Boston, and Woodward of Newton, five grandchildren; and several nieces and neph- Succumbs Herbert L.

Baum, 81, formerly of Syracuse, died yesterday in Clearwater, after a short illness. Born in North Syracuse, Mr. Baum Hved in the Syracuse area most of his life. He moved to Florida 16 years ago. He was a former employe of the Post-Standard Circulation Department and the Syracuse State School.

Surviving are his wife, Myrtle, of Clearwater; two daughters, Mrs. Vann Wilber of Atlanta, and Mrs. Ernest Spitzbarth; a sister, Mrs. Florence Haller of North Syracuse; and several grandchildren. Arrangements by Moss Lakeside Chapel, Clearwater, were incomplete yesterday.

Burial will be in Sylvan Abbey Memorial Gardens, Clearwater. Allen D. Gates Allen Gates, 75, of Cooper Road, Jordan, died yesterday at Auburn Memorial Hospital after a short illness. Mr. Gates was a life resident of the Jordan area.

He was a farmer. He was a member of Jordan United Methodist Church. Surviving are six cousins, David, Nelson and Edward Thomas and John Graff, all of Baldwinsville, Charles Thomas of Watertown and Robert Thomas of North Syracuse. Services wiil be Friday at Gates Funeral Home. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.

Concetta Santaro Nesci, 65, of 300 Beachwood Liverpool, died yesterday at Crouse-Irving Memorial Hospital. Surviving are seven sons, James of Chicago, 111., and Lawrence Joseph, Anthony, Michael, Richard, and Patrick of Syracuse; four daughters, Mrs. Charles Childs, Mrs. Adelbert Warners, Mrs. Ann Clarke and Mrs.

Donna Hall; 24 grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren; a brother, Michael Santaro; three sisters, Mrs. Celia Zaccharia, Mrs. Rose Steffanelli, and Mrs. Marie Russo' and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be conducted at 8:45 a.m.

Friday at the Pirro and Sons Funeral Home, and at 9:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Pompei Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Msgr. William L. Walsh.

HEAVY CREAM POST-STANDARD, June 26, 1974 9 School Damaged Sheriff's deputies are vestigating vandalism to a Liverpool school which they say caused over $1,000 worth of Investigators reported that eight plastic domes on the roof of the Chestnut Hill Middle School, Saslon Park Drive, were smashed sometime between 11 a.m. Sunday and 7:15 a.m. Monday. In addition, five plate glass windows were broken and four mercury-vapor lights were knocked out.

Deputies said the domes are valued at $68 each, the windows at $100 each and the lights at $22 each. Xo evidence of the identity of the vandals was left at the scene.
