The district winner will represent this area in state competition. The Little League Football Planned By Pirates The summer has jiist begun but plans are already being made for the football season. Parker Pirate midget and pee wee players and coaches will have their first meeting July 1 at 5 p.m. at Pennington Field in Parker for registration. All interested boys and parents are invited to be present. program in Bay County is considerd one of the best in the Southeast. The teams are well equipped, they play in modern parks and all have competent adult leadership. Ed Downs is district commissioner. He is also commissioner for the Junior and Senior Major League programs. There are two Junior Major Leagues here and they will have an all-star tournament to determine the team that goes to the state tournament. There is one Senior League in operation and the all-stars who are selected will go to state tournament play.
