Aug. 1, 1975 Black vows set for Oct. 18 Announcement is made of the engagement and forthcoming marriage of Mias Lynne Marie Black, daughter of Mrs. Joan K. Black of 209 Wick ave, Sharon, Pa.

and the late Delmar A. Black, to John Henry Fricg, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene R. Frieg of 861 17th at NE.

The bride elect is a 1971 graduate of Hickory High School, Sharon, and is employed by the Massillon City Hospital. Her fiance is a graduate of Washington High School and is presently attending Kent State University. He is employed by Frieg's Restaurant. An Oct. 18 wedding Ls planned.

Marilyn Bosley to wed Saturday The open church wedding of Miss Marilyn A. Bosley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Bosley Sr. of RD1, North Lawrence, and Larry A.

Schrock, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Schrock of Battle Creek, will take place Saturday in Chapel of the Cross United Methodist Church, North Lawrence. Music will begin at 7 p.m. with the ceremony at 7:30.

The open reception will immediately follow the ceremony in Fellowship Hall of the church. Aunts entertain for Judy Lorson Miss Judy Lorson, bride elect of Robert S. Arnold, was honored Sunday afternoon at a linen shower given by her aunts, Mrs. Anna Mary Leinenveber, Mrs. James Garman and Mrs.

and Mrs. Richard Arnold of Fredericksburg, will take place Saturday, Aug. 16 at 4 p.m. in St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

Refreshments were served from a buffet table centered with a bride doll cake decorated by Mrs. Warren Dally cousin of Miss Lorson, and favors of miniature floral domes in the wedding colors of blue, yellow and green, made by Mrs. Les Kamph, another cousin of the bride-elect. Prizes in games went to Mrs. E.B.

Small, Mrs. James Lorson, Mrs. Floyd Happoldt Family picnic is Sunday LYNNE BLACK Massillon Knights of Columbus Council 554, will hold its annual family picnic Sunday from 2 to 7 p.m. at the pavilion on Cherry rd NW. There will be garnes for every age group, door prizes and refreshments.

Members, their wives, and children are invited to attend. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Zeglen are serving as co-chairmen of picnic activities. There will be a "German Night" Friday from 6 to 10 p.m.

The main serving table was covered with a lavender cloth overlaid with pink net caught up with clusters of pink flowers. Lavender and pink, the wedding colors were used throughout the hall. Gold wrought iron candelabra held pink and lavender candles encircled with flowers of the same colors. The cake was decorated in lavender and pink, topped with eight white wedding bells inscribed with "Showers of Happiness, Aug.

17, 1 1975." The guest of honor cut the cake. Favors were white wedding bells filled with rice wrapped in pink net with lavender bows. CHRISANN NUSSBAUMER Luncheon, program for Golden Agers Married in St. Jacob's The Golden Agers of Navarre will hold a covered dish Juncheon at noon, Tuesday at the Navarre Civic Center. Following lunch there will be a talk by Mrs. Edna Beller, who will describe her experiences in becoming A naturalized American citizen. There will also be a program of vocal music by Miss Claudia Lomady, teacher in the Navarre Elementary School. Miss Lomady will also lead the group in singing. Jane Cleaver weds John Shurtz The wedding of Miss Jane M. Cleaver, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard W. Cleaver of 1332 Burd ave NE, and John W.

Shurtz, son of Mrs. Merle Lloyd of 4510 11th st NW, and Dan Shurtz of Wooster, took place Friday, July 18, at 6:30 p.m. in St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. The Rt.

Rev. Msgr. William and Mrs. Evelyn Jasinski who in turn presented them to the honored guest who was the recipient of many lovely and useful gifts. 00-0 Auxiliary plans events The Ladies Auxiliary, Eagles Aerie 190, met Tuesday in the clubrooms.

21. Plans are also in the making for a "Las Vegas Night" in the near future. Mrs. Wilson Boss received the door prize. Special prizes went to Mrs.

Philip Hodel, organist, and Scavenger hunt, picnic for club The Massillon Area Car Club enjoyed a scavenger hunt en route to Kiwanis Park where a covered dish picnic lunch was beld on Sunday. Paul Jennings assisted by Jerry Hixenbaugh planned the day's activities.

Prizes were awarded to: Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Cecil, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Stehle, Mr.

and Mrs. Donald Wassil and Mr. and Mrs. Dick Hixenbaugh. Thirty persons, including family members and guests, attended the meeting.

Herbert Geiger, president, presided. Snapshots were displayed of the club's participation in the Massillon Memorial Day Parade, May 26. An invitation has been received to participate in the Massillon Jaycees Christmas Parade on Nov. 22 and the club plans to accept. Paul Jennings gave a brief explanation of the purpose of the club.

Remove and cool on a wire rack or folded towl. Label, noting date, and store in a dark cool place. Makes about 4 pints. TOMATO JUICE For each pint of tomato juice wanted, use about 3 pounds firm, juicy, ripe tomatoes. Rinse tomatoes; quarter and cut away stem ends.

In a large saucepot over low heat simmer tomatoes, stirring occasionally, just until soft; do not add water because tomatoes should cook in their own juice. Strain tomatoes through a food mill, a pureeing utensil. (To remove any seeds, you may pour through a mesh strainer.) For a thicker juice, simmer uncovered about 10 minutes to evaporate some of the liquid. If desired, add salt to taste about teaspoon for each pint. Swing-A-Lings The Dance Valley Hague called Lucius master councilor Swing-A-Lings Square Club danced at Happy Barn Saturday.
