(Journal photo by Harley Oyloe) Abel named manager of Medallion Cliff Abel, who has been assistant manager of Medallion Kitchens the past two years, has been promoted to manager following the resignation of Don Eisenhuth, who has been named to city's operations coordinator. A native of the Pelican Rapids area, Abel has had about 20 years of experience in millwork. Before coining to Fergus Falls he was plant manager of the Rowe Manufacturing Company at Foreston. Abel and his wife and two sons live at 721 W. Maple. Medallion Kitchens mass produces kitchen cabinets and they are shipped by the company's own trucks to points as distant as Florida, New York, Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona. The cabinets are produced primarily for large high rises hut the company has plans for making them available through dealers. .Medallion Kitchens employs 2M men and women. Sales the past year amounted to $5'/2 million and are expected to roach $8 million this year. CLIFF ABEL Ban-the-can plan okayed MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (AP) — Suburban Crystal Tuesday night became the second Twin Cities area community to pass a ban-the-can ordinance.
