HIT MEN: Senior DT Pat Hagner, junior LB Grant Acker and Michael Schmidt are all tied for the team tackles lead with 16 stops apiece in 2003. Senior DE Matt Pinkney (5 solo, 5 assists) paces the squad with 5.5 tackles for loss and two sacks.

AMONG THE LEADERS: Junior HB Gentris Bryant is tied for third in the CC in scoring (9 0 points per game) and 10th in receiving yards per game (40.5)... Matt Cardillo ranks third in rushing yards per game (72.0) and 10th in all-purpose yards per game (73.5)... Senior HB Nick Nocar was eighth in all-purpose yards per game (93.0) Sophomore LB Nathan Smith ranked second in kickoff return average (32.5 yards per Grant Acker, Pat Hagner and Michael Schmidt were tied for sixth in tackles per game (8.0)... Matt Pinkney leads the CC tackles for loss per game (2.75) and is tied for fourth in sacks per game As a team, Gettysburg leads the CC in rushing yards per game (284 0) and scoring offense (32.5 points per The Bullets rank second in turnover margin and total offense (385 5 yards per game). LEADING THE WAY: This year's Gettysburg squad will be led by the largest group of captains in program history.

No fewer than five Bullets join the 124 who served before in the train's ultimate leadership role, a group that includes junior Mike Schwalb and seniors Matt Pinkney. Phil Storace, A Sutsko and Chris Jordan Schwalb is only the second junior elected team captain during head coach Barry Streeter's 26-year tenure. He joins fellow fullback Paul Smith, who served as team captain 1998 and 1999. BULLET POINTS: Senior CB Matt Zangrilli, who led the Bullets with four interceptions last season, made his first pick of the 2003 campaign against Nick Nocar scored on a 59-yard reception on Saturday. Dumm, an All-PAC selection in 2002, has completed 36 of 47 passes for 485 yards and seven touchdown in two games this season. In addition, he is tops among PAC quarterbacks with a 203.91 efficiency rating In his first two collegiate games, freshman RB Eric Daniels has rushed for 279 yards on 35 carries to lead the PAC with 139.5 rushing yards per game. He has also scored a team-high five touchdowns and is tied for the conference lead in scoring (15.0 points per game). Junior WR Paul D'Imperio has a team-best 12 receptions for 147 yards and two touchdowns while sophomore WR Ivan Hawkins has snagged 11 balls for a team-high 199 yards and two scores. Sophomore WR Domimck Hunter has 10 receptions for 125 yards and one touchdown.

Sophomore CB Eric Singer leads the Yellow Jackets with 13 tackles (10 solo) and has also recorded one of the team's four interceptions. Senior NT Phil Thomas has recorded 12 tackles, including a team-best six for loss.
