Mo, Nov. 14. (F) The Missouri Tigers, champions of the Missouri valley, won the homecoming gridiron classic from the University of Oklahoma here today, 18 to 14. Elimination of the Sooners leaves only one more obstacle in the Tigers' drive for the second consecutive valley championship the Mis souri-Kansas game at Lawrence next Saturday. The game was the last gridiron contest the Tigers played on their home field this season.

It also rang down the curtain on historic Rollins field. Next year new memorial stadium will be open for play. A crowd of about 10,000 persons witnessed the battle. The weather was cold and during the Inst half, a chilling rain and a muddy field made playing conditions miserable. Lindenmeyer's punting was a feature of the game.

14 OT With Ralph Baker and Lewis carrying the brunt of a diversified attack, Northwestern marched over Purdue to a 13-to-9 football victory today. Purdue scored first when Wilcox received a punt and dashed 73 yards through the whole Purple team for a touchdown. Baker scored for Northwestern in the second period after receiving a pass, and in the third period Lewis plunged over. Baker and Wilcox each made one point after touchdown. With both lines playing tight football, Baker gave Purdue a safe-J ty rather than try to kick from behind his own goal.

The Aggies were not forced to extend themselves to achieve this victory. Against the lighter and less experienced Owl machine the visitors seemed content to play a safe game while Head Coach Stewart of the Texas Long-horns looked on in the capacity of a scout. Ogg followed this with a yard through tackle. Smiley backed this up with the gain of a yard.

Underwood punted 40 yards to Hunt who fumbled at mldfield. A pass. Underwood to Smiley, gave the Owls four yards. With a minute left to play a Rice pass failed of completion. A Rice rass was intercepted by Captain Wilson of the Aggies.

McGuire made two over guard. Here the game ended. Score: 17. Rice 0. FIRST PERIOD.

The Owls recovered on their own 38-yard line. A Rice forward pass went wild. An offside play cost the Owls five yards. Ogg rammed over center for five -yards. A Rice pass was intercepted by Wilson who was chased out of bounds on the Rice 41-yard line.

Wilson hit tackle for five yards. Hunt stepped around end for ten and the first down of the game. The ball was then on the Rice 25-yard line. Hunt Kicks Field Goal. Kisht went over guard for two yards.

Hunt, dove a yard off tackle. Kishi added another yard on a tackle brush. Hunt kicked a perfect field goal from the 27-yard line from placement thereby giving the Aggies a three point lead. Herting kicked off for Rice to Wilson who fumbled but recovered. The Aggies immediately punted to Hochull who was chased out of bounds at mldfield.

A Rice pass struck Hochull in the face and was grounded. Underwood was tossed for a loss of 11 yards when he attempted a pass. Another Rice pass failed. Underwood kicked out of bounds on 38-yard line. Wilson punted 62 yards over the Rice line.

Hochull Hits Line. Hochull went' through the line for two yards. Ogg made a yard after which Underwood kicked out of bounds at mldfield. Hunt lost six yards when attempting to hurl a pass. Kishi circled left end for a gain of seven yards.

Wilson skirted right end for six yards more. Wil son booted the oval to Rice's' one yara jine wnere me ball was grounded by Watt, the Aeele center Herting failed to gain on a sweep play. The ball went over the Rice line for a touch-back. Ogg was stopped for no gain. He gained two yards on the next drive. Underwood punted 40 yards to Hunt who came back 7 yards. It was the Aggies' ball on their own 48-yard line.

Wilson plunged over right tackle for three yards. Klshl went over the center of the line for three yards. Wilson made It one more. Wilson punted to Hochull on the Rice 21 yard line. Hotiiii lost a yard at center.

Underwood kicked 60 yards to Hunt who was forced out of bounds tin the Rice 47-yard mark. Winston replaced Appling for Rice. Klshl was smeared for a loss of three yardB. Colgen replaced Klshl at half for the Aggies. Wilson wos dumped for a yard loss.

The gifted kicking toe of Johnny Washmon, a stubborn defense, and the breaks of the game gave TCU a three to nothing victory over Arkansas university here at the university stadium Saturday afternoon. In many details as well as the score the game duplicated that of one played here just a week previous when the Texas Aggies lost 3 to 0 to the Horned Frogs. It was John Washmon, center, who kicked a field goal on' each occasion to win the game. On both days, a gale sweeping out of the northwest played a-great part in the contest.

The defeat was a hard one for the Razorbacks to take. Nearly every break of the game fell against them. But it would have been a harder game for the Frogs to lose. The winners outplayed the visitors at practically all stages but it took an offside in the Arkansas line to keep the score from being different. Had there been no offside the big break of the game would have fallen against the Frogs and they might have suffered a heart breaking defeat.

The Aggies lost fiva yards because of offside. A double pass, McGuire to l'rice to Kishi, gained 13 yards. Hunt plunged four yards to a first down. McGuire hit left guard for two yards. Hunt followed with a slam of four over the same side of the line.

He then moved around end for two more. At this point the Aggies, essayed a fass which went wrong. The ball went over on Rice's five-yard line. Ogg made two through center. Hochull added one more at center.

Underwood punted out of bounds on his own 42-yard line. Here tried a pass that was grounded. Hunt was tossed for the loss of a yard on an attempt at "nd. A pass. Hunt to McGuire, gave the Aggies a gain of five yards.

Wilson punted over the Rice line for a touchback. The Aggies lost five yards through offside. Calvin broke through center for Rice's first down. Here the quarter ended.1 Score: 10; Rice 0. FOURTH QUARTER Ogg opened the fourth quarter by circling end for a gain of ten' yards and first clown.

On the next play Ogg was held without a gain. A Rice pass failed to gain. A second pass was incomplete. Up to this time Rico had completed three out of 20 passes. Underwood punted 45 yards to Hunt who shot back for eight yards.

Hunt made one over end. Ths Aggies suffered a 15-yard penalty for holding. McGuire hit right tackle for six yards. jammed over tackle for 27 yards, the longest gain of the game. He made two more on tho next play.

A pass, Hunt to Klshl, gained 37 yards and put the bail on Rice's 13- yard line. Wilson moved over left tackle for two yards. Hunt gained a yard at right guard, l'rather re placed Calvin for Rice. An Aggie pass was incomplete. Hunt passed to Kishi who ran to a touchdown.

Hunt kicked goal from placement, making the score 17 to 0 in favor of the Aggies. McVey replaced Kendrick In the Rice lineup. Rectoreck replaced Dansby for the Agk'les. Herting kicked to Beutel. Hunt moved around left end for two yards.

Kishi hit center for two yards. Hunt gained a yard at cen ter. Wilson dropped back to kick. Although the pass was low he re covered In time to gain over end. Craln replaced Appling for Rice.

Wilson was thrown for the loss of a yard. The Aggie captain came back with a gain of two yards over guard. An Aggie pass went awry. Wilson punted out of bounds on the Owls' 25-yard mark. Ogg was thrown for the loss of two yards.

Madden replaced Hochull for Rlre. A Rice pass was grounded. A pass, Herting to Madden, gained seven yards. Underwood punted 31 yards to Hunt who came back 15 yards. Kishi skirted left end for 15 yards for the Angles.

Sauer re placed Reynolds for Itlce. Hunt shot a pass to Wilson for a gain of nine yards. Kishi drove through a first down on the Owls' 23-yard line. Smiley replaced Herting for Ilie.e. Wilson tore through center for nine yards.

Wilson bucked center to another first down for the Aggies. Hunt passed to Beutel who juggled the hall into the hands of l'rather of Rice. Smiley gained six yards off tackle. On the next piny he carried the hall six more yards to a first down. Smiley clipped off five more on an end run.
