It sounds like an unbelievable amount of money; yet the sum can be reconciled to reason when one remembers that something around $46,00,000 a year of federal, state and local money is spent on state highways alone; and a lot of other money on county or lateral 'roads. The item of education is a tremendous one, putting money to its most productive possible use.
