'i. tf J' Never In the histories of Texas university and Texas college have relationships between the two schools been so good. There is almost a Damon and Pythias friend ahip existing now, that years ago was not evident.

Of course, the Cadets of A.M. still refuse to stand when "The Eyes of Texas" is played, and one can still detect a hissing above the glorious warsong of varsity but Btill there is a warm feeling between the two schools. Why? S.M.U. Both After Dallas Crew. The Magnetic Mustangs, cockiest team in the conference, has served as a common bone of contention for the two institutions that are supposed to be as deadly rivals as the doff and cat.

The fact that the two Institutions have a warm feeling for each other was amply exhibited by Charley DcWare, the staunchest supporter the Texas Aggies have. Charley came over to see Texas and S.M.U. play this fall. He wanted to see the game well, so athletic authorities broke all rules toy letting Charlie be driven on the track, surrounding the gridiron. For A Couple Odds.

That wasn't enough. Charley wanted everyone to know where he stood. So a Texas Longhorn blanket was draped over his car. There was not a stauncher supporter of Texas in the grounds than Charley Deware, staunchest supporter that the Asrgies have. Charlie yelled himself hoarse for the Longhorns.

Charlie is here today. He will be on the sidelines, wearing Texas Aggie colors. No one will yell louder for the Aggies than Charlie. No one will be more bitter against the longhorns than Charlie. 13ut only for a couple of hours.

The game over, all will be for-irotten. and Texas and Texas will again be the warmest of friends. WHINING TEAM GETS AIRPLANE RIDE 1 Jf a Gig 'Em Aggies!" If fg WE ARE BEHIND YOU TO A MAN WITH THE OLD A. M. SPIRIT THE A.
