Wanted: quick cooks Dinner in a half-hour? Send us your fast recipes to prove it can be done. C AN YOU MAKE a nutritious, tasty dinner at home in 30 minutes or less? No way, say most Americans, whose appetites and hurried schedules are giving big boosts to restaurants, fast-food and carryout joints, and delivery services. In fact, a recent survey found that more than 90 percent of Americans think it's impossible to make a successful meal in 30 minutes or less. But if you said, "Yes, I can make a good meal in 30 minutes!" let us hear from you. With your help, we'll prove there are reliable recipes for cracking the cooking time crunch. We're looking for real-world dinner recipes, all simple enough for non- cooks and all prepared in minutes. Here's a recipe we've heard about that fills the bill: Boil': box pasta in a pot. In another pot, cook a bag of frozen mixed vegetables. Add a cup of non-fat sour cream and a tablespoon of Dijon mustard. In 10 minutes you have Dijon Pasta Primavera, a one-dish vegetarian meal.
