ARTHUR McGEORGE open house Sunday in VFW hall Mr. and Mrs. Arthur McGeorge of 925 Cornell st NE THE COUPLE was married June 9, 1914 in the Church of Christ, Beatrice, 'W. Va. by the Rev: F.

J. Ash. Mr. and Mrs. MeGeorge have 4 sons, Joe, Burl and Sherman of Massillon and Lee of Lawn Dale, 20 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

McGeorge retired in June, 1964 from Republic Steel where he was employed as a truck driver. Guild Plans Father's Day Frolic. A tribute to fathers: will be the theme of the spring dance "The Father's Day Frolic," to be given by the Women's Guild of Doctors hospital, the Starlight room of Amherst center, June 120. Eddie Juenemann's orchestra will provide the music for dancing from 9 to- 12:30 p. m.

Proceeds from the dance be used for the benefit of the hospital. Mrs. Ralph McInnes and Mrs. Albert Bartko 'are serving as cochairmen. Mrs.

Charles Vickers is chairman of the decorating committee and' Mrs: Margaret Taylor in charge of publicity. Plans for the picnic were made when the chapter met Tuesday evening in the Community room of the First Savings and Loan Co. Mrs. Robert Lewis of Dover led the devotions. L. FEENEY The Pre-Y-Teens' Summer Adventure at the Massillon YWCA for fourth, fifth, and sixth grade girls will be under the leadership of Mrs. Maynard L. Feeney. Mrs.

Feeney is a graduate of Northern university. Her teaching and leadership experience include directing summer camps, day camps, and teen, 'and pre-teen programs for Chicago and -suburban YWCA's and centers. THE TWO periods for this year's 'Pre-Y-Teen Summer Adventure. club. will be 22- July 3, and July 6-July 17.

Activities will be held on Mondays and Fridays, from 9:30. until noon, in the YWCA's "Adventure Hall," with trips, tours, and outings, away from the building, on Wednesdays: The girls will go adventuring in areas of their choice, with opportunities to select crafts, singing, group games and contests, puppetry, music apprecia-1 tion, hiking, biking, and cookouts. Given marriage by her father, the bride wore a streetlength dress of white lace over taffeta, and carried a white Bible topped with pink carna- Miss.

Mary Shroyer, sister of the bride, as maid of honor, wore a lavender print. dress with matching headpiece and carried bouquet of pink carnations. Dennis Adams served Mr. Welker as best man. Mrs.

For her Shroyer daughter's wedding, chose a blue and white dress with white acces-l sories and her flowers were pink carnations. 0-0-0 YW Offers 3 Classes classes will be offered this summer on Tuesday mornings at the YWCA for the interest and pleasure of women and teenagers. The classes will begin June 16, at 9:30 and con: tinue for six weeks, in the air conditioned association rooms. Knitting will be taught by Mrs. T. G.

Sibila, who has been the instructor for several years. This series of lessons will offer beginners or those who already have some knowledge of knitting an opportunity to get an early start on making sweaters or other items for the fall, or even to make something for use this summer. Sewing will be offered for all who would like to learn this skill for the first time or who would like to continue to learn more about it. It, also, will be taught by one of our regular instructors, Mrs. Maynard L.

Feeney, who has already taught many series of lessons at the YWCA.
