It was set up late last summer In the building formerly occupied by the Taylor Laundry and Cleaning company. The Taylor company, owned by Ralph Taylor, became part of the Monarch Cleaners, of South Bend, which opened a "pickup" station at New Troy following the merger.

The Bestt laundry operation then opened here under Taylor, doing specialized industrial cleaning on a contract basis for the St. Joseph firm. According to Harry J. Thurkettle, ef St. Joseph, president of the company, his service includes shop towel rental, fender coyers, seat covers for mechanics, Industrial cleaning, dust control and glove renovation.
