J. C. Froneberger were named to serve on the nominating committee. Johnny Parrish, principal, announced the art workshop for grade school children to begin the last week of March under the direction of the Arts and Crafts Department of the Lawton Woman's Forum. Jefferson Element ary School PTA met in the school auditorium recently with Charles Miller, president, announcing that an Easter party for students will be held Friday. March 24, sponsored by Die PTA and homeroom mothers. Ed Grooms, new Cub Scout master, and Mrs. Grooms told about the Boy Scout Pack sponsored by the PTA. -Mrs.

Gary Williams, cliair- man of the Environmental Improvement Organiozalion, spoke to the group on pollution control. The Day Baptist Women of the First Baptist Church met for a week of prayer for home missions observance in church recently. Mrs. Jasper Grigg, mission support chairman, was in charge of arrangements for the event. Guests during the week were Mrs.

David Warren, Mrs. Sara Scott, Mrs. Jerry Johnson, Miss Marsha Pearson and Miss Alece Grigg. A shower was held at the end of the week to collect paper items to be used by Mrs. Officers Hold Dinner, Dance Officers of the Communica- lions and Electronics Department and their wives held a dinner and dance recently in the Artillery Eoom of Ihe Fort Sill Officers' Club.
