Baker, 83, of 200 Road, died yesterday at Mount Morris Hospital after a short illness. A native of Potsdam, Mr. Baker had resided in Syracuse for 60 years. He was a practicing attorney and for the past 15 years, he had been associated with his son, William F. Baker of North Syracuse.

He was formerly associated with Page, Leigh, and Baker of Syracuse. Mr. Baker was a member of the Onondaga County. Bar Association. He was a communicant of Most Holy Rosary Church and a member of its Ushers Club and Holy Name Society.

Mr. Baker was also a veteran of World War I and a member of American Legion Post 41. Surviving besides his son are a sister, Mrs. Katherine Newell of Potsdam; nine grandchildren and a great- grandson. Services will be at 8:30 a.m.

MARGARET DAMON BAKER, 60, died yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Glenn Bishop Tully- Vesper Road, after a long illness. She was a Tully Valley resident for many years. She was employed for a short time by the Ponds Syracuse. In addition to Mrs.

Bishop, she is survived by a son, William W. Baker of Denver, four other daughters, Mrs. Robert Cook of Denver, Mrs. John Nolan of Ned row and Mrs. Charles Chawgo and Mrs.

He was also a former associate campaign manager for the Community Chest of Syracuse and Onondaga County. He was a senior warden and vestryman at St. Alban's Episcopal Church. He was also a member of the Sales Executive Club and the Rotary Club. Surviving are his wife, Mrs.

June Rusterholtz Johnson; four sons, Stewart Jerome Stephen J. and Philip G. Johnson; his father, Manuel J. Johnson of Staten Island; a brother, Manuel G. Johnson of Bethlehem, and a sister, Mrs.

and was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union. He was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church and a member of its Holy Name Society. He was also a member of the Polish National Alliance Society, the Happy Hearts Club and the Sons of Rest Club. Mr. Kotas was a bowler with the Sacred Heart Club League.

He served as a chief petty officer in the Navy in both the Pacific and Atlantic Theaters. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary Kotas; a daughter, Miss Judith Kotas; two sisters, Mrs. Alexander Dukat and Mrs. Thaddeus Barczewski; five brothers, Frank, Jacob," Henry, Adam and Florean Kolas and several nieces and nephews.

Isadora Bodow Dies; Warehouse Services Tomorrow Isadore Bodow, 87, of 2412 E. Genesee died Monday in Miami Beach, Fla. A life resident of Syracuse, he was former proprietor of I. Bodow Son Scrap Iron and Metal Co. He retired in 1963.

He was a member of Young 5 Youths Charged in Burglary Sheriff's detectives yesterday capped a nine-day investigation of a $1,100 burglary at Nightingale Mills, Marcellus, with the arrests of five county youths on charges of third degree burglary. Arraigned last night before Marcellus Judge Joseph V. Ryan were Edward R. Bowers, 17, of 219 W. Roswell Nedrow; John H.

Amidon, 17, of Pleasant Valley Road, Marcellus; Donald F. Flanagan, 17, of 2902 Buckwheat Road, Marietta, and brothers Michael 18, and Raymond J. Ramsden, 16, of 3518 Cherry Valley Turnpike, Navarino. A 15-year-old youth was. apprehended and turned over to Family Court authorities.

All pleaded innocent to third degree burglary and were released on $1,000 bail for grand jury action, Lt. Robert W. Mekkelson headed the investigation for the sheriff's department. He said the youths were all apprehended yesterday morning at their homes and schools. They allegedly more than $1,100 wortlh of tires, tubes, batteries and automobile accessories from the Marcellus firm.

S. Berry To Head PEACE Unit Elwood S. Berry last night was elected president of PEACE Inc. Other officers elected at a meeting of the board of directors at PEACE headquarters, 117 Gifford were John Mungovan, first vice president; Mrs. Onetha Chrisholm, second vice president and Kenneth Roth, secretary.

Destroyed By Fire A "working fire" late last night destroyed a warehouse at Genant Drive and W. Court Street. One fireman was slightly injured fighting the blaze.

Firemen arrived on the scene shortly after receiving the alarm at 9:11 p.m. and found smoke and flames bellowing from the roof and sides of the building. No one was reported to have been in the building at the time of the fire and cause of the fire is under investigation, firemen said. The fire apparently began near a loading platform on the one-story quonset hut's east side. There were two trailers and one tractor and trailer parked at the loading dock and all received minor damage, firemen said.

Fireman William McLaren of Truck Co. 2 received a slight hand cut and was taken to Community-General Hospital by the fire department's first aid unit. He was treated and released. The blaze was listed as having been brought under control at 9:51 p.m. Firemen, however, worked late into the night to completely extinguish the fire.

The warehouse, owned by the Axe Arthur Motor Express was filled with assorted products and was heavily damaged, firemen said. Fire fighters had to use axes and power saws to get into portions of the building. Private i for GEORGE E.
