to the hospital for an emergency appendectomy He wu released but an infection followed the eurgery then he contracted pneumonia and he wu back in the hospital for an additional 10 day stay He wu three weeks left beofre they report to work They will begin their duties on August 30 though Marvin Stokes principal and Thelma Dellinger homemaking teacher are already on the Job Several improvements hav been made in tha school building and grounds New aluminum windows have been Installed in the auditorium Tha lunchroom has been painted! both the interior and exterior Several classrooms have also been painted and when painting was not necessary walls wow scrubbed and floors reflnish-ed to present a more pleasing appearance An additional school bus has been purchased which should help to relieve crowded conditions During the part year due to increased enrollment all busses were filled to capacity and most had to make two loads Recently most of the school ground was paved It is hoped
