Nixon said earlier this year he would propose a 7 per cent increase in social security payments to help meet the cost of living rise since the 13 per cent increase in monthly benefits effective in February, 1968. Coffey was sentenced to 30 days. Eddie Howard Haney. 21, 1770 South Sierra way, Stevensville, was assessed $93, or 45 days.
