sideration of 20 demands made by the convicts The end came only a few hours before some 200 Montana Two more cases of pneumonia have been admitted to' St Olaf Hospital 1 Dr VanCleve president of the Mowef County Medical Society said Monday that a min epidemic of pneumonia had broken out in Austin "The pneumonias are relative ly mild and the recovery rate to date has been Dr VanCleve said There have been 31 cases to date but somebf thepases have already been discharged irst cases were reported last week The 'disease did not fit any of the typical patterns of pneumonia that have been seen in the area and the Minnesota Dept of Health sent a team here to in vestigate the disease There is no evidence at the pre sent time that the disease is high i ly communicable VanCleve said Accidents Christian Pineau an nounced he was flying to London Thursday at request for disarmament talks The British cabinet too was called into session to discuss dis armament In addition Dulles planned to confer with Primfe Minister Har old Macmillan at dinner tonight to discuss the arms situation and other world problems Interim Report The Western delegates have agreed to submit a brief interim report to the on the sub committee talks Thursday unoffi cial deadline for the talks and to extend the negotiations It was ex pected that Zorin would agree permanently ousting Dorfman from union office as the AL CIO Ethical Practices Committee' re sumed hearings on corruption domination charges against the Bakery Workers Union A similar hearing is due Thursday on charg es ngainst the Teamsters union vwlth approxi mately BOO members is directly affiliated with the AL CIO Thus the case was handled directly by Meany without consideration by the ethical practices group WASHINGTON President Eisenhower Mid today he will sub mit a new school aid bill to the next Session of Congress a bill he said that put an alba tross around the neck of the American taxpayer At a news conference Eisen hower also der to meet the emergency short age of classrooms Objections to Bill The bill was defeated by five votes and various proponents of the measure have said it would i have passed if Eisenhower had thrown his weight behind it Eisenhower said his objections to the bill was mainly that it did not put enough emphasis on the need of individual states for aid He said that giving funds to every state would foster the' opin ion that the states were getting something for nothing with the re sult he said that he doubted the flow of federal money could be shut off at the end of the five year period covered in the aid bill Eisenhower said he was opposed to any bill that would as he put it fasten an albatross around the neck of the taxpayers Then he said he would have an other bill of his own ready for the next sqpsion df Congress Angered by Question Eisenhower showed much Irrita tion when asked about Gluck the dress store chain executive whose nomination to the Ceylon post has been approved by the
