13, 2011, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born October 5, 1925, in Se-jkov, Slovakia, he married Mary Pavlo in 1959 and moved to Edison. Michael was a Machinist with Airco in Kenilworth and retired from Edison Mold Tool Co. in Cranford. He was a communicant of Holy Family R.C, Church, Linden, NJ, and member of First Catholic Slovak Union, Slovak League of America, Slovak Culture Club, and American Slovak Senior Club.

He was predeceased by his parents, Andrew and Barbara Karch, and he is the last survivor of his family. Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Mary Karch; daughters, Mary Kapitan and husband Gary of Edison, Ann day, Dec. 11, 2011 at home. He was 88. Born in Worcester, MA, he resided in Hartford, CT, as well as St.

Albans and Brooklyn, NY and Old Bridge, NJ before moving to Monroe Twp. 32 years ago. Prior to retiring in 1988, he was an accountant for Rari-tan Oil, Edison. He had been chief accountant at Bennett Brothers, New York City, NY, for more than 25 years. Mr.

Chadwick was a graduate of the Class of 1951 of Pace University, New York, where he received his BS in Accounting. He umpired for the Old Bridge Little League; and volunteered at the Medical Center at Princeton for 7 years. He was an avid photographer and enjoyed documenting the activities of his family. He served aboard the USS Portland for most of his naval enlistment. He was on board ship to witness the 2nd most important surrender of the war when the commanders of Truk Island ceded control of all Japanese held islands in the Pacific to the US government on September 2, 1945.
