When students started August 25, there were several new things to adjust to; namely eight new staff members. In the elementary section Ms. Paula Rust took over a Fifth grade class and Mrs. Stephanie Mund, a graduate from Comfort last year, is working as a special education teacher aid.

In Middle school, Mrs. Betty Johannes is (caching a sixth grade class and Mrs, Royce Stcubing came back after a year of absence. There were five new staff members at Comfort High, including Mrs. Judy Magulrc (History and Government), Mrs. Vivian Hickerson (English and Spanish), Raymond Grim (Band), Lynn Mosicr (Agriculture) and Mrs.

Rose Marie Schnlder (Typing), also after one year of absence. The student body would like to thank these people for the fine effort they are putting out and wish them the best of luck. This year the High School system has a half-hour homeroom in which the various clubs and activities can meet on assigned days. In the past two weeks all of the clubs have been able to meet and reorganize and all seem to agree that we're off to a great start. The athletic season is also in full swing already.

Coach Me Keithan has been working with the football boys for about a month now. The B-team started their season with a game against Boerne September 4. At the end of the fourth quarter the score was 6-6. The A-team plays their first game Friday in Bandera, so come on out and support the Cats! Miss Chew, girls athletic director, has also been working with the volley ball girls and getting them ready for the early season this year. So in Comfort we have gotten off to a great start and we hope to keep it going the same way.

Best of luck to everyone In everything they try. tase IF you have guests, party, wedding anniversary, go on a trip or anything you would like published, please let us know. There Is no charge. Send the information to the Kcrrvillc Mountain Sun. P.
