and Services W. T. Harris Services for W.T. Harris, 97, of Ingram, were held Saturday morning in Corpus Christ! with burial in Corpus Christi. He died last Thursday in a Corpus Christi Nursing Home.

He was born in Texas and moved here in 1948 from Corpus Christi, where he had been in the wholesale grocery business. He lost his first wife and family in the Galveston flood in 1900 and remarried, but his wife preceded him in death. Surviving are a son, W.T. Harris Jr. of Corpus Christi; a daughter, Mrs.

Jack Adams, of San Antonio; three grandchildren; several great grandchildren; one sister and one brother. J. A. Greer James A. Greer, 66, of Center Point, died Saturday in the Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital.

Services were Wednesday afternoon in the Chapel of the Kerrville Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Soloman officiating. Burial will be at II a.m. Friday in the Eden Cemetery in Trout, La. Born in Trout Feb.

26, 1910, he was a civil engineer and had been in overseas dredging operations. He was a Methodist. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Jack Greer of Fresno, Ca. and Richard Greer of Auborn, one sister and one brother. Hilda Biermann of Comfort. W. C. Toler Warren Chester Toler, 58. died Friday in the Veteran's Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia.

Services were held Tuesday afternoon in the Plummer Funeral Chapels with Rev. C.C. Ehler officiating. Interment was in the Garden of Memories. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pa.

May 3, 1918 and moved to Texas with his parents in 1925. He attended Tivy and joined the navy in World War II. He was at Pearl Harbor when the Japanese attacked Dec. 7, 1941. As Chief Gunners Mate, he served aboard the Admiral Chester Nimitz flagship during surrender proceedings in Tokyo Bay.

After serving in the Navy 20 years, he retired and moved to Kerrville and lived here a number of years before moving to Wheelersburg, Ohio. During the war he was awarded the American Defense Medal, The Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal and Good Conduct Medal. Survivors Include his wife; two brothers, Fred C. Toler arid Cedric Ross Toler and a sister, Mrs. Owen Baldwin, all of Kerrville.

Gary Lundschen Gary Frank Lundschen, 22, died last Thursday from injuries received in an automobile accident. Services were held Saturday morning in the Chapel of the Riebe-Saunders Chapel in San Antonio with Rev. Delmas Luedke officiating. Kurt Pressler Services for Mrs. Kurt Pressler, 92, were held in the Bcckmann Funeral Home in Frcdericksburg with burial in the City Cemetery Monday. She died Saturday in a Fredericksburg Nursing Home. She was born July 30, 1884 in Blanco County. Survivors include five sons, Hilmar Pressler of Kerrville, Arthur and Victor Pressler, both of Fredericksburg, Frank Pressler of San Antonio and Ralph Pressler of Humble; one daughter, Mrs.

Lee Odiorne of Bulverde Hills; 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Dr. N. L. Schiller Nelson Lorenz Schiller, M.D., longtime Austin physician died Saturday.

Funeral services were from St. Martins Ev. Lutheran Church Tuesday morning. The body lay in state at the Hyltin Manor Funeral home until that time. Dr.

Schiller was born April 28, 1909. He received his B.A. degree from the University of Texas, and completed his medical degree at the University of Texas Medical school in Galveston. His internship was done at Tacoma General Hospital in Tacoma, Washington. He was in medical practice for 41 years, the last 34 being in Austin.

He was a member of the American Medical Association and Texas Medical Association and a charter fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians, serving as a'board member in varied capacities; and the Travis County Medical Society. Dr. Schiller was an active member of St. Martins Ev. Lutheran Church, serving on the church council and numerous committees.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Nelson of Austin, daughter, Mrs. Joyce E. Miller, of Fairfax, and two grandchildren, Troy and Elaine Miller, and a sister, Mrs. Elvira Brehmer, of Kerrviile. Be proud of Kerr Country! Let's keep it clean.

C. Hogan Charles Clyde Hogan, 77, 937 Prescott, died Sunday in the Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital. Services will be Friday in the Ford Funeral Home in Coffeyville with Masonic graveside services in Restlawn Memorial Park. Kerrville Funeral Home was in charge of the local arrangements. Born Sept.

21, 1898 in Moore, he moved here seven years ago and was a member of the First Christian Church. He was a station agent for the Missouri- Pacific railroad in Coffeyville for many years and a 50 year member of the Keystone Masonic Lodge in Coffeyville, the Royal Arch, the Knight Templers, the Mizra Temple Shrine and the Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Charles L. Hogan of Kansas City, Mo. and William R.

Hogan of the Philippines Islands; a stepson, Charles Mohler of Coffeyville; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Bernadina Penny, of Little Rock, Ark; eight grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Mrs. Hattie Patton and Mrs. J.E.

Moose attended funeral services for Mrs. Patton's nephew, Wesley Dedker, 72, in Boerne Friday. Mr. Dedker died in a nursing home after a long illness. He is survived by his wife; one brother and one sister.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CORRIDOR AND DESIGN (COMBINED HEARING) Hie State Department of Highways and Public Transportation will conduct a Public Hearing on Thursday, August 26, 1976 at 8:00 P.M. in the Dietert Chapel on the Schreiner College Campus in Kerrville, Texas for the purpose of discussing the location and construction of a proposed Loop near the City of Kerrville. This proposed Loop would extend from P.M. 689, southeast of Kerrville to I.H. 10 west of S.H.

16 northeast of Kerrville. The proposed non-controlled access facility would be initally constructed as a two-lane rural type highway with provisions for an ultimate four-lane divided roadway. The routes and designs presently under study by the Department will require displacement of some families and businesses. Maps showing the proposed corridor route that will be displayed at the public hearing, together with environmental studies and any other information about the proposed project are on file and available for public inspection and copying at the Resident Engineer's Office at Kerrville, Texas, Also, maps have been placed on file with Kerr County and with the City of Kerrville. The State's Relocation Assistance Program, the benefits and services for and information concerning the relocation assistance office will be discussed.

Tentative schedules for right of way acquisition and construction will be discussed- All interested citizens are invited to attend this public hearing.
