The owner happened to be Walter Perkins, director of "Pablo and the Dancing Chihuahua," a two-part adventure-drama scheduled for broadcast on "Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color" on Channel 2 Sunday at 5:30 p.m. The theft took place along the Arizona-Mexico border where Perkins was filming the show. That was the problem, he had been shooting for nearly a year and the bag had been firmly established as a major prop in thet film.

It all happened one night when Perkins and several crew members went to a party in Nogales. Whilt there, a thief broke into his car and stole the suitcase containing the bag, and many other smaller props as well. "I discovered it was missing the next morning," Perkins related.
