The celebration of the year, the I groomed sand-covered arena. Then Lintt.4 OftfVt A 1 in A county's annual rodeo is now history. Where do we go from htre. Why, planning for the 30th of course. GOOD NEIGHBORS all, were our neighboring towns with their floats and horseback riders, that gave the parade so much glamour that it was hard to take it all in.

Suggestion, there should be a pause at regular intervals, so the spectators could have time to take in the beauty. A vote of thanks to Austin, Fredericksburg, Brady, Llano and any other towns. To Brownwood, for bringing such an array of beautiful horse flesh, to say nothing of the riders making up the Sheriff's Posse, and Riders Club. They spared no expense to get their mounts to the parade on time. One of the littlest riders to came the most beautiful people in the hometown people to see the show.

They parked their lawn chairs, and spread a pallet for the little ones. A wee bit near the arena fence, 1 think, but after all we live dangerously nowadays. Of course those of us, 35 or older, took our places in the grand stand. The show looked plenty wild and wooly. For a real San Saban, there's no ment that will ever replace the rodeo, VACATIONING with their grandparents, Mr.

The car is our second home, says July issue of Ford Times. This story is told in the Times. It 'happened in one of those brightly lighted turnpike restaurants. A family came in and ordered breakfast. They were obviously tired, for they were noisy and irritable.

The baby cried, the children bickered and spill things, the father complained to the waitress, the was postcards in her free moments, scolded the children furiously. They they left, the postcards were forgotten on the table. The waitress picked one of the cards up and spoke aloud to a sympathetic audience, "Could you guess the message?" she asked. The message was "Having a wonderful time." What we take with us on vacation, is important, says this magazine, "a supply of patience and humor will be more useful than guide books or drip dry clothes." Glad you read this!
