About Food By Glen Nelson Believe it or not, Christmas is only 13 days away at this writing. It's time to talk turkey again. We have had so many requests to stuff and roast turkeys again for Christmas that we have decided to do just that. If every one that wants a turkey roasted and stuffed will follow these instructions, I'm sure we will be able to take care of just about every one. First of all don't call in your order, but bring in your roaster bottom. Pick out the turkey of your choice from our large selection, put it in your roaster and take it to our Delicatessen counter. The girl at the Delicatessen counter will take your money for the turkey and the roasting. She will give you a receipt which you will present when you pick up your turkey Christmas morning between 11:00 and 12:00 A. M. Now the important thing is, do not wait until the last minute. We will have to accept orders on the first-come-first-served basis. Starting Monday, December 15th., we will begin taking the roasting orders. Saturday, December 20th., will be about as long as we will be able to accept orders. Our turkeys all come frozen so we must allow time to get them thawed out, cleaned and stuffed. The roasting and stuffing charges are $2.50 for a turkey up to 12 Ibs. 13 Ibs. and over are $3.50 per turkey. We are most happy to do this service for our customers as we know how busy a day it can be for the 'lady of the house'.
