Hostesses were Mrs. Roy Bumgarner, Mrs. Tracy Smith, Mrs. delen Martin and Mrs. P. J. Burns. The catechist gift, presented by Mrs. Bumgarner, Was awarded Mrs. Hollis Weber. Cancer bandnges were rolled and members also worked on missionary articles and convent linens. Christmas Party for Episcopal Guild Bishop Kemper Unit Rave the Christmas program when the Parish Guild met at Christ Episcopal Church Wednesday evening. Mrs. Obcrt Whlteis Introduced the program and Mrs. Walter Hartman was narrator. Mrs. Jean Burton sang two selections and Mrs. Carl Anderson and Mrs. Harold Frederick sang a duet, accompanied by Mrs. Doris Harder. The Rev. T. J. Williams offered the Christmas prayer followed by group singing of enrols. During the business meeting it was voted to send R gift to the Rev. and Mrs. George Spratt, Min who will leave soon fdr three y*«rs of work in Liberia, Africa. Refreshments wer« served by 'Bishop Kemper Unit with Mrs. James Cassldy pouring. Woodbury Workers Hold Yule Party The Woodbury Willing Workers held a noon potluck lunchfeon and gift exchange at their Christmas party, Tuesday. Members met et the Lyle Legion Hall. Mrs. Arthur Graves was in charge of games during the so clal hour. Meetings will resume in April with Group Two as hostesses. Royal Acres Club Holds Holiday Party The Royal *cres Birthday Club held its Christmas party at the home of Mrs;. A. L. Satterloff, Highway 16 West, Tuesday evening, following a potluck dinner, the program included games and con- testa won by Mrs. Stanley Groh and Mrs. C. Rector. The birthdays of Mrs. Viggo Sorenson and Mrs, Venw Wigant were observed and they were presented with gifts. There was an exchange of Christmas gifts. Mrs. Lyle McCoy was named chairman. Christmas Films on WSCS Program Two Christmas films were shown at a meeting of the Women's Society of Christian Service of Fel« lowship Methodist Church, Wednesday at the parsonage. Mrs. Paul Ferguson led in do- votlons and Mrs. Charles Brinee was in charge of the Christmas program. The films were shown by the Rev. Clnir Kersten. Refreshments were served by Mrs. Sidney Wakefield, Mrs. Clayton Bnrnett, Mrs. Blake Crane.
