When 20 members and quests of the Union Cemetery Aid society of West Lebanon met recently at the residence of Mrs. Otto Heidman, a bake sale was a feature of the evening. Mrs. Ralph Martin, presided. Several readings were presented.

The Women's Society of Christian Service of the West Lebanon Methodist c.hurch will hold a Christmas party, Thursday, Dec. 4, at 7:30 p. m. at the residence of Mrs. Darrell Lax.

A covered dish supper will be served and a gift exchange conducted. The Rev. Leonard Hegnauer, pastor of Lowell Evangelical Reformed church of Canton, was guest speaker at a thankoffering service and tea held by the Women's guild of St. Paul's Evangelical and Reformed church of Navarre. Seventy five members and guests including the guilds from the Smoketown, Bolivar Richville Evangelical and Reformed churches were present.

Mrs. R. H. Hall, president, conducted worship service, assisted by Mrs.j Robert Mohr and Mrs. Albert Gretzingcr, thankoffering chair-1 man.

The speaker spoke, briefly on the subject of what Americans to be thankful for, comparing our; lives to those living in Korea He i showed films taken in Korea by his son, Robert'Hegnauer, a chap-; lain now stationed at the Aberdeen! Proving Grounds in Maryland. The; films showed scenes of living con-' ditions and roads.of Korea, rather' than scenes of the conflict now effect there. The junior choir of the church presented two selections under the direction of Mrs. Wilmer Grun-j wald. The tea table used a Thanks- giving theme with Mrs.
