Sentenced to Ionia for one year. The People vs. Canton, burglary. Trial commenced Monday and concluded Tuesday when respondent was found guilty. A motion was then made by respondent's counsel for arrest of judgment, which was to have come npfor hearing yesterdays but didn't, He was then sentenced, to Jackson fox four years.

The People -ys Samuel Bishop, mayhem. Plead guilty. Fined yesterday $26 and $15 costs, or 90 days in jail. He went to jail. Degolier King vs.

Rosina King, assumpsit. Continued until next term. Nathaniel Beardsley vs. Mary Eas-mussen, assumpsit. Proofs and allegations heard in part Tuesday and concluded Wednesday.

Defendant found guilty in manner and form as charged by plaintiff, and a judgment was entered in his favor for $19.72 and costs. The People vs. Charles Whitford. Continued until next term. Taylor Parrott vs.

Petition filed by the Superintendents pfjthe Poor to have Willie Tio of Wee-saw, sent to the State Public School at Cold water as a dependent child. Hearing March 27. In the matter of the Hickory Creek drain. The court held that the proceedings were illegal and and gave him no jurisdiction to appoint special commissioners, and the proceedings were dismissed. Four hundred people are interested in this decision.

In the matter of the Hickory Creek Extension drain, the court held the proceedings regular and legal and appointed R. M. Hogue, Chas. W. as-Kius and John W.

Bedford as special commissioners to determine the necessity for the drain and to award damages to those who have not released the the right of way. Estate Alma R. McCracken, minor.
