The Rev. Grady Dawson, retired minister and great uncle of the bride, officiated the double ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Browen Ehrlich of Green* sboro, N.C.and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Gordon Shurtleff Sr. of Panama City. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of ivory silk organza with a high Duchess neckline and raised bodice. The hemline and train were bordered with Venlse roses and lace. Her long veil of silk illusion'was attached to a cap of Venise roses and edged with lace. She carried a bouquet of Gardenias, white roses, stephonotis, and white baby's breath, centered with a white orchid. Around her bouquet was ivoryAlencon lace that had adorned her great grandmother's wedding dress. Miss Frances Wynn Eholich, of Greensboro, was her sister's maid of honor. She wore a formal halter gown of maize flocked organza, featuring a V-neck, empire waistline and yellow satin ribbons. She wore a picture hat of yellow braid, banded with matching satin ribbon and daisies. She carried a nosegay of white daisies with yellow baby's breath. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Michael Edward Shurtleff of Winter Springs, the bride's sister-in-law; Miss Patricia Jeanette Nathan of Lumberton, N.C; Miss Carolyn Carter Taylor of Washington, N.C. Mr. Thomas Beatty of Raleign; Miss Mary Marvin Johnson of Dunn, N.C; Miss Rhonda Lea Glass of Hialeah, Fla.; and Mrs. Thomas Walker of Winston-Salem, N.C. They wore gowns and picture hats of the same style as the maid of honor and carried nosegays of yellow and white daisies with whjte baby's breath. Michael Edward Shurtleff of Winger Springs, Fla. was his brother's best man. Ushers were Daniel Jay De. Roeck of Durham, N.C, Thomas Calvin Beatty of Raleigh and Thomas Walker of Winston-Salem, N.C, Fred L. Orcutt of Palm Beach, Fla., Earnest W. She wore a white, yellow throated orchid. The mother of the bridegroom chose a full length gown of turquoise silk shiffon, fitted waistline and matching accessories. She also wore a white orchid cor- cage. After the ceremony the bride's parents hosted a reception in the ball-room at Howard Johnson's Coliseum in Greensboro. Approximatley 450 guests attended. The couple spent their honeymoon in the Bahamas. The bride was graduated from Meridith College in Raleigh with a BA degree in biology.
