PHONE 2580 Young People's Activities At St Veronica's Church The Catholic church, ever mindful of the welfare, of the within its fold, organizes Sodalities and Societies to promote their moral uplift. In these organizations the social aspect is also made very prominent. In St.

Veronica's parish, the young people of the Sodalities have sponsored many worthwhile activities. Chief among these are the dramatic performances, the card parties, the fathers' and sons' get-to-gethers and the mother and daughter affairs. The parish can boast of a very creditable Dramatic Guild whose members are recruited from the Sodalities and who have produced several very entertaining plays. Not only are pleasant evenings enjoyed but these various social affairs produce better understanding between the members. The talent of both youth and its elders is developed and finds opportunity for expression in the mutual entertainment accompanying these affairs, but best of all there results that closer and finer understanding between youth and its elders where mistrust and dissatisfaction give way to confidence and contentment.

The constitution of the Sodalities provides for monthly reception of Sacraments in a body and a monthly meeting presided over by the spiritual director, usually the pastor, Rev. Henry Gramman. At these gatherings a talk on some worthwhile subject is. followed by discussion of plans for further activities and a social hour. THE MIAMI MODEL LAUNDRY CO.
