www.greenbaypressgazette.com Green Bay Press-Gazette Saturday, June 6, 2009 A-9 OBITUARIES FUNERALS Calaway, Audrey Ann Audrey Ann Calaway, 70, De Pere, died Thursday, June 4, 2009, at her home following a courageous battle with cancer. Audrey was born May 3, 1939, the daughter of the late Wilford and Edna (Kazik) Van Lanen. She married Clarence Calaway on Sept. 1959. Audrey was a Nicolet High School graduate, Class of 1958.

Audrey's first job was at Derek's as a carhop. She then moved on to Fort Howard Paper Co. She finished her career at St. Norbert College with 23 years in custodial services. Her most fulfilling job was as a volunteer at Outreach Services in De Pere.

Audrey enjoyed flower gardening, going up north and NASCAR races. She was also an avid Packers fan. Her favorite time of the year was Christmas, when the family gathered for brunch. Audrey is survived by her husband, Clarence; children, Barbara (Mark) Ninham, Lawrence (Toni) Calaway, Janet Calaway, Daniel (Jenny) Calaway, Bruce Calaway, William (Jackie) Calaway; grandchildren, Curtis Ninham, Kimberly Ninham, Cory Ninham, Rachel Schulze, Becky (Tim) Ottery, Travis Schulze, Devin Calaway, Amy Calaway, Emily Calaway, Josh Calaway, Ben Calaway; greatgrandchildren, Nathan Ninham, Andrew Ninham, Micah Ottery, Keegan Ottery, Taliyah Ninham; sister, Alice Stuebs; brother, William (Camille) Van Lanen; aunts, Caroline Kazik, Dorothy (William) Mazzina; inlaws, Arlene Bogenschutz, Sylvester (Pat) Calaway, Bernard (Margaret) Calaway; special friends, Joann Terrien, Peggy Alfred, Ellie Teresinski; and other relatives and friends. Audrey was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert Van Lanen; and brother-in-law, Herb Stuebs.

Jirovetz, Andre "Skip" Andre "Skip" Jirovetz, 75 years, Sturgeon Bay, died early Friday morning at Bellin Hospital. He was born June 25, 1933, in Sturgeon Bay, the son of the late Andrew and Anna (Kerscher) Jirovetz. After graduating from Sturgeon Bay High School in 1949, he received his associate degree in engineering from Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE). Skip served his country in the U.S.

Army during the Korean War. On Jan. 6, 1973, he married Marlyce Darlene Glysch at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Manitowoc. Skip worked with Joe Schmelzer in their flooring business.

Recently, he owned and operated FALKON ENTERPRISE, a manufacturer's sales rep business. Skip was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Marlyce, Sturgeon Bay; two children, 1 Dacy and Paul Jirovetz, Milwaukee; and one sister, Arlene Hershgold, Bothel, Wash. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Annette Haak.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2009, at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Fr. Dominic Peluse scj officiating. Burial will follow at St.

John, 85, Oneida, passed away Thursday, June 4, 2009, at Anna John Nursing Home. Leona was born on Jan. 1, 1924, in Lily, a daughter of the late John and Mary (Baird) Bowman. On Sept. 24, 1942, she married Irving P.

John at Holy Apostles Church, Oneida. Irving preceded her in death on April 6, 1996. Leona loved spending her time cooking, swimming, rummaging, fishing, going to carnivals, and she loved her children. Her favorite color was purple and pussy willows were a favorite of hers as well. Leona is survived by her 15 children, Linda Bowman, Irving John Jr, Glenda Bowen, Jackie John, Carol Summers, Kathleen Polar, Andrea John, Gregory John, Porky John, Robin John, Forest John, Patrice John, Kevin John, Tony John, and Victoria Conners; numerous grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, and greatgreat grandchildren.

(Neal) Joyce K. (Neal) Luckhard, 64, Green Bay, died Thursday, June 4, 2009, at a Chicago hospital after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born March 22, 1945, to the late Elmer and Emma (Kreklow) Luckhard in Chicago, Ill.

Joyce was employed by Montgomery Wards for many years and by Cash Systems until her retirement in 2008. She enjoyed sewing, playing cards and loved teddy bears. Joyce was a loving mom and grandma and will always be remembered for her hugs. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Angie Neal, Green Bay; three grandchildren, Ian Neal, Grants Pass, Oregon; and Isiah and Ava Neal, both of Green Bay; two brothers, Richard "Ozzie" Luckhard and Roy (Diane) Luckhard, both of Illinois; one sister, Jeanette (John) Pfeifer, Illinois; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Brian Neal and two brothers, Ralph Luckhard and Robert Luckhard.

Rollin, Marie (Jonet) Marie (Jonet) Rollin, 76, Green Bay, passed away on June 4, 2009. She was born on Aug. 8, 1932, in Tonet, to the late Joseph and Minnie (Gomand) Jonet. On Sept. 1, 1951, Marie married LeRoy Rollin at St.

Martin Church in Tonet. Marie worked at Fabry Glove and Mitten and later at the Green Bay Press-Gazette until her retirement. She was a member of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church since 1957 and was a member of the Altar Society. Marie also spent much of her time creating Memory Bears.

She was a volunteer at St. Vincent DePaul and a member of St. Vincent Hospital Auxiliary. She sewed chemo caps for cancer patients, and always enjoyed a good game of cards. The daughter of the late John and Dora (Vander Linden) Nackers was born Feb. 26, 1921, in Green Bay. Dorothy married John Zelten on May 29, 1943, at St.

Boniface Church in west De Pere. Together, they raised 13 children. Dorothy enjoyed bowling, golfing, square dancing, sewing and crafts, watching sports with John and volunteering at St. Vincent Hospital. She was a member of St.

Mary Catholic Community in De Pere. Survivors include her children, Mary (Pete) Fleck, Cletus (Nancy) Zelten, Jane (Drew) Ama, Kenn (Beth) Zelten, Patrick (Debbie) Zelten, Donna (Bill) Leanna, Steven (Tina) Zelten, Joe Zelten, and Bill (Michelle) Zelten; daughter-in-law, Joanne Zelten (Ken) Verhoven; sister, Rosemary and Paul Racine; brother, Norbert and Eunice Nackers; sisters-in-law, Angeline Grohusky and Dorothy Zelten; numerous nieces and nephews.
