Furniss Jr., a spokesman fdf the Maryland Petition Committee" has called for political action to" prevent racial integration in the public schools. Turniss, Rockville attorney who represents the Maryland Petition Committee, said the MPC plans to circulate 50,000 leaflets throughout'; the stale calling for political action. "'"Ihcre is nothing improper in circumventing the law and that is what we are going to do until we can change it," he said. Furniss was speaking at a meeting called by the committee's Carroll County chapter. He told the approximately 125 persons attending; "You people have got to get up and go if you want action. At your next meeting you should start looking for candidates.". The MFC's director of public relations, Bobort L. Wiseman, told the group the Supreme Court decision outlawing segregation of the races in the public schools was "Communist inspired.-" "Brain-washed newspapers are feeding the public rotten dope about it," said Wiseman. Visiting Band To Play At AHS Game Tomorrow -The 100-piece Montgomery .Blair High School band will present a halftime ceremony at the football game between Allegany High Sthool and the .
