VFW Again Sponsoring Scriptwriting Contest The Veterans of Fort-tun Wars is sponsoring the 19th annual Voice of Democracy national broadcast scriptwrilins contest with the cooperation of the Na tional and State Associations of Broadcasters. The contest is open to all 10th, llth and 12th grade public, priv- age and parochial school students. To enter the contest students three to five minute scripts on the theme: "Democracy What It moans To Me." Each school winner's script is tape recorded to advance in the contest.

Students may not refer to their race, creed, national origin or in any way identify themselves. All radio stations are cooperating in the cutting of tapes to insure professional quality. Friday Deadline School contests must be completed by Friday and the winner's tape forwarded to District Chairman Francis B. Moyer, 1920 Delaware Allentown. A panel of judges will award a first place prize or a $50 Saving Bond and a trophy; second, place; S25 Savings Bond and tro phy; -third place.
