I'age Twelve MULDROW HERALD 1HIRD NINE WEEKS Fourteen senior high arid nine junior high students made straight A's for the Third Nine Weeks and were named to the Superintendent's Honor Roll.The senior placed seven on the coveted roll for class honor. Students having perfect records for the period were: Twelveth Grade Superintendent's Honor Roll; Vicky Cherry, Janet Green, Marilyn Lee, Linda Lewis, Cathy Morgan, Terri Haywood, and Georgia Stevenson. Eleventh Grade: Joan Hallum, Judith King, Karen Smith and Larry Snyder. Tenth, Grade: Betty fcherry. Melissa Garrett, and lock.

Ninth Grade: Lucy McGee, Debbie Patterson and Betty Yut- terman. Eighth Grade: Danny Howell and Darlene Woodward. Seventh Grade: Joan Bray, Medessa Cook, Kenneth Howell and Mary Peters. Elder Wayne Efurd delivered the Sunday morning and Sunday night messages.

Several of the members of the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church attended the singing convention Sunday afternoon, April 19, at Brother Pagets church in Sallisaw. with Bible classes. Communion at 11 a.m. and preaching at 11:15. Sunday night services start at 6 p.m. Wednesday night Bible study starts at The youth group practices singing after Bible study.

Wednesday night, April 8, at Bible study a group of the church members got together and planned a vacation Bible school to be held at. the Church of Christ building starting a 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. June 8 through June 12. We want to welcome every boy and girl through the ninth grade to attend.

Let all come that can and make it a good Bible school. We can not teach our children too much about Godand whatitmeans to be a christian. THE NAZARENE CHURCH NEWS The Nazarene Church had 155 present in Sunday School Sunday April 19. Brother James Stewart delivered the Sunday morningand Sunday night messages. Melissa Middleton brought the lesson in the NYPS Sunday evening.

The members of the Nazarene Church of Muldrow attended the Zone Rally at Poteau, Thursday night, April 16. They won the attendence Banner. Brother Stewart faughttheCST course Tuesday, night, April 14 and April 21. The Nazarene Church will be holding church at the local Rest Home 23. FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH, ROLAND This has been a joyous week at First Baptist.

Brother Kenneth Tatum ha preached the word of God. Souls have been saved. Christians have been revived. There was a total of 16 souls saved during the week. 13 of these came for baptism and church We wish to thank all of bur visitors who came to worship with us.

Please feel free to come any time. Each night we were blessed with specials in song. Some from our own church and many from visitors. Many thanks to all of them. In our little attendence contest the young people won easily.

We are proud of these young people. The loosers in the contest have to feed the winners so we are planning a wiener roastandham- burger fry this Saturday evening on the church yard. Everyone come Saturday evening April 25 at 5:00 and enjoy the victory supper with our young people. Our Sunday School attendence was 69 with 87 for worship service. Let's see if we can't beat this record.

Brother Raymond Christian, Wanda Christian, And Mildred Shackelford are in Little Rock attending the National. Meeting of the Missionary Baptist Association of Anlerica. The meeting will continue through April 23. VISITORS IN THE JOHN GIBBONS HOME Visiting in the home of Mrs. John Gibbons over the weekend was Mrs.

Ollie Brooks of Oklahoma. VISITING IN THE BURROW HOME Visiting in the home of Mr. arid Mrs. Bill Burrow and Mr. and Mrs.

Eules Haddox, recently were: Mr. and Mrs. Harold Dees and Virginia Moor- lock and daughter, Angelia of Edmond, Oklahoma. Sergeant and Mrs. Moorlock recently returned irom Cuba, where they spent three years.

Vernon Davis and Mikie. MULDROW SENIORS TOUR EASTERN STATE COLLEGE A group of seniors and Mrs. Henson made a trip to Wilburton Monday, April 13 to tour the campus of Eastern StateCollege. The'purpose of the tour was to acquaint seniors with the campus by observing the facilities, the faculty, and the student body. students who were interested in making the trip were Vickie Cherry, Pam Hixson, Paula Orr, Terri Haywood, lilllle Lee, Sue A nnKnapp, George Byrd Kirfcy Williams, Larry Henderson.

Thursday, April 23, 1970 THE LIBERTY ASSEMBLY OF GOD CHURCH NEWS The Liberty Assembly of God Church had 42 present in Sunday School Sunday, April 19. Brother Clifford Davis delivered the Sunday morning and Sunday night messages. There will be a monthly A. Rstfly at the Lee's Creek Assembly of God Church Monday, April 27 at 7:30. Brother Jerry Green will be the speaker.
