J.R, Holland of Bolivar, after visiting relatives at Pittsburgh and Waynesburg, Pa. She was accompanied by Elder Bernard G. Kirlin of St. Vincent Seminary at Boynlon Beach, Fla. They also vi'sited relatives at Barnesville and Cambridge.

Becker-Smith Linda Susan Becker, daughter of Mrs. Mildred Becker of fii4 3rd st. NW, New Philadelphia, exchanged marriage vows June 27 with Jeffrey Lee Smith, son of Mrs. Dorothy Smith of 509 Walnut Uhrichsville, and William A. Smith of E.

3rd Uhrichsville. Their vows were read in New Philadelphia First United Church of Christ with Rev. Harold Auler as offici- ant. Roy Carroll was organist. The bride was escorted by her brother-in-law, David Patrick of Dover.

Linda chose a floor-length, empire gown of sheer nylon and acetate fashioned with lace on the skirt and bodice. Her lace mantilla swept into a chapel train and she carried white roses, pompons, carnations and stephanolis and a handkerchief which belonged to her grandmother, the late Mrs. Carrie Becker. Matron of honor Mrs. David (Carol) Patrick of Dover, sister of the bride, wore an aqua rayon and chiffon gown and veil and carried a colonial bouquet of white carnations, aqua stephanotis and fern.

Bridesmaids Gwen Cotterman of New Philadelphia and Mrs. Dennis (Wanda) Denzer of Toledo wore yellow gowns and carried white carnations, yellow stephanotis and fern. Richard Peterson of Zanesville was 'best man and Gregory Smith of Uhrichsville, brother of the bridegroom, and James Clough of Uhrichsville were ushers. The bride's mother wore a pink ensemble and white accessories and the bridegroom's mother wore a pink ensemble with matching accessories. Each had a white orchid corsage.

A 3-tler cake decorated in yellow and aqua centered the bride's table-and Marie Fockler presided at the guest book at a reception in Surety Savings and Lean Co. meeting room in Dover. After honeymooning in Toronto, Canada, the couple is residing in 2774 Defiance Columbus. A 1967 New Philadelphia High graduate, the bride was employed by WJER in Dover and will be employed by WMNI radio in Columbus. The bridegroom is a 1967 graduate of Claymont High and is a senior at Ohio State University where he is majoring in applied mathematics.

He is employed by Ohio State's dairy. Lee-Finnicum Bolivar St. John's United Church of Christ was the scene of the June 17 wedding of Johanna Mary Lee, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lee Jr.

of Bolivar, and William Robert Finnicum, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Finnicum of RD 1, Mineral City. Their vows were read by Rev. Clemens A.

Wahl. Mrs. Don Mullett of Bolivar was organist. Johanna chose a linen, Aline, floor-length gown featuring a scooped neckline trimmed in Venice lace and a chapel train accented with lace appliques. A Camelot headpiece held her elbow- length illusion veil and she carried a fan-shaped bouquet of white roses and orchids on a Bible which belonged to her a t-grandfather, Thomas Swanks.

White lino-weave gowns accented with yellow roses and white picture hats were worn by Mrs. Steve Gahn of Lancaster, matron of honor, and Mrs. Gary Shaub of Canton and Ann Finnicum of Mineral City, sister of the bridegroom, bridesmaids. They carried white and yellow rose arm bouquets. Debra Pedersen of Bolivar, cousin of the bride, was at- tired in a gown fashioned like the bridesmaids'.

Timothy Pedersen of Bolivar, another cousin, was ringbearer. Sam Wright of East Sparta was best man and Jon Lee of Bolivar, brother of the bride, and Terry Cramond of Lancaster were ushers. The couple's mothers wore yellow ensembles with white accessories and had white rose corsages centered with cameos. Regena Lake of Mineral City had the guest book at a reception in the Town and Country Restaurant at Reedurban. Hostesses were Mrs.

Arthur Pedersen of Canton, aunt of the bride; Mrs. Fred Pedersen of Bolivar, Mrs. Roger Peters of Hudson and Mrs. Mike Coblentz of Peru, cousins of the bride, and Mrs. Gary Scheideber of Columbus.

After honeymooning at Ft. Lauderdale, the couple will reside on RD 1, Bolivar. They are 1966 Tuscarawas Valley High graduates. The bride attended Grace College in Winona Lake, and was graduated by Gerber's Beauty School in Dover. She manages Jody's Beauty Salon in Bolivar.

Her husband was graduated this year by Ohio University in Athens. Lewis-Baker Rev. Clifford Farmer was officiant for the June 27 wedding of Kathleen Ann Lewis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James E.

Lewis of 109 Union Dover, and Robert Wayne Baker, son of Mr. and Mrs, Floyb Baker Sr. of 305 Glenview Dover. The double ring ceremony was read in St. John's United Church of Christ at Dover with Mrs.

Robert Burkhart as orangist and Mrs. William Ellwood, vocalist. The bride was attired in a floor-length gown of re-embroidered chantilly lace, fashioned with an empire bo- Idice and accented with scalloped lace Double silk illusion outlined in scalloped chantilly lace formed the floor-length chapel veil and she carried white and gold pompons with baby breath and greens. and Mrs. Lester Herman of RD 1, Dundee, and the bridegroom is a son of Mrs. Mary Schneider of RD 1, Dundee, and the late William Schneider. Mrs. Sterling (Nancy) Troyer was organist and Mrs.

Richard (Stella) Herman, sister-in-law of the bride, was vocal soloist. A gown of organza, taffeta and chantilly lace was worn by the bride. Her English illusion veil was caught to a headpiece of chantilly lace petals trimmed with pearls and she carried a bouquet of daisies and stephanotis on a white Bible. Mrs. Fred (Randi) Hosteller of Dundee was matron of honor and was attired in a blue nylon and taffela gown and veil.

She carried pink and yellow daisies. Brenda and Bonnie Herman of Dundee, sisters of Ihe bride, were bridesmaids and were attired in pink and yellow gowns, respectively. Brenda carried blue and yellow daisies and Bonnie carried blue and pink daisies. Jackie Griffith of Beach City, cousin of the bride, was flower girl. She wore a blue nylon and taffeta gown and carried a white basket filled with blue, pink and yellow i daisies.

Bill Mohr of Winesburg was best man and ushers were Fred Hosteller of Dundee and John Schneider of Winesburg. Ringbearer was Ronnie Scheufler of Dundee, nephew of the bride. The bride's mother accented her blue ensemble with white accessories and had a pink rose corsage. A lime green ensemble, while accessories and a yellow rose corsage were worn by the bridegroom's mother. Miniature bells topped a 4- lier cake decorated with blue bells and white flowers at a reception in Winesburg school.

Hostesses were Mrs. Robert Bushy, Mrs. David Hershberger, Judy Hershberger, Mrs. Beryl Frink and Mrs. Richard Herman.

Sharon Hess and Donna Scheufler, nieces of the bridegroom, had the guest book. Following a honeymoon at Niagara Falls and Canada, the couple will reside on RD 1, Dundee. The bride is a 1970 graduate of Hiland High and a former employe of the Winesburg Restaurant. The bridegroom, a 1964 graduate of Hiland High, is self-employed in milk cartage to Bunker Hill Cheese Co. and Is engaged in farming.

Hummell-King Rev. Paul Hummel of Berlin, father of the bride, was officiant for the June 27 wedding of Brenda Kay Hummel and Ralph Leroy King, son of Mr. and Mrs. Emery King of Malvern, Pa. Their vows were read in Berlin Mennonite Church.

Vocalists were the children's choir of the church and a sextet comprising Lois sister of the bridegroom; Mr. and Mrs. Harry King, brother and sister-in-law of the bridegroom; Barry Hummel, brother of the bride, and the bride and bridegroom. Brenda chose a floor-length organza over taffeta gown accented with lace cuffs and a lace neckline. Her mantilla was edged with lace and she carried long stemmed yellow roses.

The gown was made by her aunt, Mrs. Paul Miller. Mrs. Dallas Rychener of Goshen, cousin of the bride, was matron of honor and Harry L. King of Malvern, was best man.

Ush- ers were Brian Hummel, brother of the bride; David King, the bridegroom's brother, and Levi Zimmerman. The bride's mother chose a yellow dress and the mother of the bridegroom wore blue. Each had a pink rose corsage. Mr. and Mrs.

Bruce Hummel, brother and sister-in-law of the bride, registered guests at a reception in the church social hall. Hostesses were Mary Lehman, Miriam King, cousin of the bridegroom; Marcia Yoder, Cheryl Boyd, Kathy Mast and Wendy Rottman, cousin of the bride. After honeymooning in New York, the couple will leave for 2 years of voluntary service in Robstown, beginning in August. The bride will teach and the bridegroom will be working in recreational leadership. The couple are graduates of Eastern Mennonite College in Harrisonburg, she in 1970 and he in 1969.

Robert Hamma was organist. The bride's chantilly lace gown featured a Sabrina neckline, crystallette bouffant skirt with tiers of chantilly lace and a detachable chapel train. With it she wore a 2-tier bouffant elbow-length illusion veil and carried white carnations centered around a white orchid on a prayer book, whi'ch the bridegroom's mother carried for her wedding. She wore diamond earrings, gift of the bridegroom and a rosary on her right wrist. Mrs.

Kurt (Bonnie) Auman was matron of honor and wore a lilac gown and headpiece with multi'color lace trim. Bridesmaids were Bonnie Myers, Mary Jane Cua, sister of the bridegroom and Bonnie Gehring, cousin of the bride. They wore orchid gowns and carried orchid and lilac daisies and pompons with sea foam statice. Karen Pope was flower girl and carried a white nylon basket filled with matching petals. Jerry Cua was best man for his brother.

Ushers were Fred Cua, brother of the bride, and Donald and Ronald Harding, brothers of the bridegroom. The bride's mother was attired In a pink ensemble with matching accessories. She wore an orchid corsage. The bridegroom's mother also was attired in a pink ensemble with matching accessories and had an orchid corsage. Mrs, John Gehring, grandmother of the bride, had a white carnation corsage.

The bridegroom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Espenchied's Restaurant. Brenda Baker registered guests at a reception in the Dover Masonic temple. Hostesses were Nancy Cook, Debbie Bixler, Marlene Duval, Linda Hites, Mrs. Kenneth Brown, Mrs. Paul Schtfber, Mrs.

The bride was attired in a floor-length, empire, A-line gown of peau de soie and peau d' ange lace fashioned with a bateau neckline, long sleeves and circular chapel train accented with motifs of lace. A Camelot hat encrusted with pearls and beads held her cathedral veil snd she carried miniature white orchids, stephanotis, mums and ivy. Her pearl and diamond necklace was a gift of the bridegroom. An apricot Quaker lace and karate gown and illusion veil were worn by Jean Snyder, maid, of honor. She carried a I basket filled with orange roses, yellow pompons and ivy.

Bridesmaids Mrs. William Riel, sister-in-law of the bride; Judy Labus, Karen Sewell and Mary Seikel, sister of the bridegroom, wore Nile green gowns and carried baskets of yellow roses and Pompons and ivy. All are of Dover. David Seikel was his brother's best man. Guests were seated by Dan and Fred Sei- 9 kel of Dover, other brothers, and William and Dan Riel of Dover, brothers of the bride.

The bride's mother chose a Nile green silk and worsted dress and the bridegroom's mother chose an aqua sheath and bone colored accessories. Each had a green cymbidium orchid with ivy corsage, $8t Mary Gaston, cousin of the bride, had the guest book at a reception in the church social hall. James E. Riel of Cleveland. The newlyweds are residing in 119 Glenview Dover. The couple are graduates of Dover High, she in 1966 and he in 1965. The bride was graduated May 3i by Capital University and is a staff nurse at Aultman Hospital in Canton.

Her husband served 3 in the Army, including a year in Okinawa, and is employed by Warner-Swasey Co. in New Philadelphia. White-Ma Ilernee Rev. Henry Saunders was officiant at the June 7 wedding of Juanita White, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.

Woodrow White of RD 1, Tippecanoe, and Thomas W. Mallernee, son of Mr. an Mrs. Waune Mallernee of RD 1, Tippecanoe. Their vows were read in Tippecanoe United Methodist Church.

Organist was Mrs. Lyle Stewart and vocalist was Pamela Ripley. The bride was escorted by her brolher, Wil, liam White. Juanita wore a taffeta, organza and lace floor-length gown fashioned with a lace bodice, bell-shaped skirt and a chapel train. A petal cluster bandeau held her shoulder- length veil and she carried roses and carnations and a handkerchief belonging to her mother.

Her earrings and necklace were gifts of the bridegroom. Maid of honor Marie White, sister of the bride, was attired in lilac and carried lilac roses and carnations, Bridesmaids Karen Ferguson of Cadiz and Lucy Mallernee of Tippecanoe wore yellow and green, respectively, and carried flowers to match the gowns. A pink gown and headpiece were worn by Pam Vermillion of Gnadenhutten, flower girl. She carried a basket of pink rose petals. Ringbearer was Tracy Ferguson of Cadiz.

The bridegroom's brother, Milton Mallernee was best man. Ushers were Jim Dunlap of Freeport and Duane Diver of Seabring. The bride's mother wore pink and white and the bridegroom's mother wore orchid and white. Each had an orchid corsage. Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the church social hall.

Becky Simpson had the guest book, The couple are 1968 Lakeland High graduates. She is employed by Dennison First National Bank and he is. employed by Snyder Mfg. Co. in Dover.
