She said Sandy had been fed only bread and water and had become ill.

She said Heidnick carried Sandy's body away "and I think he burned it." Thomas said her captor carried a knife and forced her and the other women to go upstairs with him to have sex. "He told me he wanted me to have his baby," Thomas said. "I think I'm pregnant now, but I don't want to have his baby." The only times the women were out of the chains, Thomas said, were when they were taken upstairs. Thomas said Debbie was killed "not too long ago. I think he electrocuted her with wires attached to her chains.

There were wires attached to all of our chains at some times." Sometime around the time of Debbie's killing, Thomas said, "Nicole fell in love with him the captor and soon she was living upstairs." That left only Thomas and Donna in the basement. Tuesday or the day before, she said, a girl named Vicky was brought in and chained up. When rescue finally came, Thomas said, "Donna and I just jumped up and down and hugged each other. We were yelling, 'Free at Her mother, Paulette, said Lisa Thomas was "a strong person tough." She said she had reported her daughter missing to police, but had been told that her daughter probably "had just gone away." QUEEN SIZE SET PHILADELPHIA "The next thing I knew he was choking me and he handcuffed me. He took me down to the basement and put chains on my legs.

He beat me with a wooden stick. There were two other women down there. They were chained, too." Speaking Wednesday from her bed in Episcopal Hospital, 19-year-old Lisa Thomas told the story of the horror that had been her life for the past three months. Her ordeal ended Tuesday night, when police, alerted by a woman who had escaped, rescued Thomas and two other women from the basement of a house where they had been held. During her imprisonment, she said, she saw two other women die, one of whom apparently was electrocuted.

She said she wa9 forced to have sex with her captor every day, was clothed only in a shirt, and was fed nothing but dog food and dog biscuits. Her story had an ordinary beginning. She had left her home on the evening of Dec. 22 to go to a friend's house. On the way, she said, she was attracted to a late-model Cadillac occupied by a lone male.

He 9truck up a conversation with her that led to his inviting her to dinner. She accepted. The man, she said, was Gary Heidnick, who owns the house in which she became a captive. Police have identified the owner of the house as Gary Michael Heidnick, 43. They have charged him with rape, kidnapping, aggravated assault and murder.

Thomas said she and the man went to a restaurant for dinner, then went to his home on Marshall Street "to watch some videotapes." Then, she said, she fell asleep, and "the next thing I knew he was choking me." Thomas said she came to know the two other women being held in the basement as Nicole, about 27, and Sandy, about 25.

Later, she said, girls named Debbie and Donna also were brought to the cellar and held in chains. 339-3076 8557 Research Blvd. 140 Next to Target at Research ft Ohlen Rd. RESEARCH HI TARGET 784-6700 OPEN: Sat. 10-6 11 12-8 Sun.
