State Will Pay Cost of Tuition for Air Base Children 16 THI: POST-STANDARD Saturday, September 6, 1947 Sfichman Rules School Districls To Be Reimbursed The state of Now York will pay the cost of tuition of children living on the army air base housing project to the school districts in the area, Mayor J'rnnk J. Costello announced ycvieYday afternoon after a telephone conversation with Herman T. Stichman, state housing commissioner.
