Oneida Rejected as Proposed Site for U.S.Veterans Hospital Not Close Enough To Medical Center, VA Chief Asserts city of Oneida has been turned down as a proposed site a veterans hospital, Paul H. Hawley, chief medical director ot the VA, in reply to the letter sent by the Oneida veterans i a i committee, seeking to have the veterans hospital situated here, said that Oneida was too far a medical center.
