irgmia omen 4 I amp i on ship Onondaaa Ace Upsets Favored Hilda Swanson Scores 4 and 3 Victory at Yacht Club Mrs. Virginia Auld Watson of Onondaga scored one of the major upsets in the history of the Syracuse Women's District Golf association' when she defeated Miss Hilda Swanson of Drumlins, .4 and 3, in yesterday's final of the annual championship tournament at the Syracuse Yacht club course. Swanson Was Medalist Hilda won the title a year ago and took medalist honors Friday's qualifying round for the title event but her wood.shots were off yesterday while her opponent played consistently good golf all the way to close out. the match on the 15th green. Both finalists arc expected to compete in the women's state championship tournament nt the wood country club in Tuckahoe July 21 thru 26.

Mrs. Chester E. Fisher won the first flight consolation by defeating Mrs. A. A.

Muench, 4 and 3, at the South Bay links yesterday morning. -Mrs. A. J. Spire defeated Mrs.
