He was born w' was chairman of the Country View on Human Rights Committee. He was employed for many years at Western Transportation, and most recent, employed by Anderson Erickson Dairy. He served with the Army during World War II. Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Patricia Lee of Rockford, 111., Ginger Peterson of Urbandale, Ann Tippet of Waterloo and Jennifer Wilken of Des Moines; 13 grandchildren; three sisters, Rosemary Nampel of Galesburg, 111., Jane DeMong of Tustin, and Ann Fuller of Ellensburg, a brother, Paul of Hawthorne, Calif. He was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Casciana, and a brother, Tom.

Mrs. Weyland died Friday (April 28) of congestive heart failure at Memorial Hospital. She was born Oct. 13, 1917 at Eagle Center, the daughter of William and Alma Bedard Klein. She married Martin A.

He died Aug. 30, 1975.
