Wendy 1 K. Heiserman ROWLEY Services for Wendyl K. Heiserman, 76, will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Quasqueton Union Church; burial in Quasqueton Cemetery; he died early today (Oct. 19) at Mercy Hospital, Cedar Rapids, after a long illness; survivors include his wife, Leta; a son, Franklin of rural Rowley; a daughter, Dixie Mosher of loo, son of Ernest and Hilda Tribon Schmidt.

He married Darlene Margaret Flickingeron May 18, 1963, in Las Vegas, Nev, He worked for the Carnation Co. in Waterloo until moving to Phoenix in 1958. Survivors include his wife; six Kim Boaz, Brenda Nicholson, Terl Mambrey, Tanya Boggs, Trisha Evans and Traci Schmidt, all of Phoenix a son, Randi Robertson of Phoenix; 15 grandchildren; and two sisters, Norma Durkee of Yakima, and Ruth Gerhardt of Maryland; he was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Orth, in 1959; a brother, Joseph, in J985; and a daughter, Tiki, in 1984. Arthur Richard Schmidt Services for Arthur Richard "Dick" Schmidt, 52, of Phoenix, formerly of Waterloo, were Oct. 10 in Phoenix. He died of heart failure Oct. 5 in Phoenix. He was born May 4, 1936, in Water Irene 0.

Eight St. reported Monday a $250 stereo, $40 speakers, $50 booster and $200 jacket were taken from her vehicle, and $300 damage was done to the dashboard Mid-Continent Bottlers, 2835 Lackland Drive, reported Monday a $500 pop machine was taken from Romeo's Carwash, 917 Independence Ave Kris Hiple of 702 W. Mullan No. 3, Tuesday reported a $300 radio and a $50 cassette were taken from her car. Nancy Beth Ungerer, 23, of 2403 Cedar Falls, was arrested Tuesday on a complaint of third-degree theft.

She is accused of taking $125 worth of items from the Target Store, 1501 E. San Martian Drive. Three juveniles were taken into custody Tuesday on complaints of delinquency by second-degree burglary and fourth-degree theft. They are Talhan Bradford, 14, of 325 E. Eighth St.

Joseph Dean Nelsen. 14, of 120 Courtland St. and Shawn Marie Christensen, 16, of 922 Mulberry St. They reportedly were found prowling around Coca Cola trucks at 120 Washington and cans of pop and hood ornaments allegedly were taken. Burglary: First Baptist Church of Waterloo, 434 Baltimore Tuesday reported a $300 cassette deck was taken from the second floor music room.

HCoyrt Log: Gary Lee Beaumont, 23. of 808 Elliot Court, pleaded guilty to criminal trespass and was fined $40. He was accused of trespassing at a residence at 222 Lawrence Evansdale, after police asked him to leave and he. returned on Oct. 2.

Alan Eugene Dobbs, 21, of rural Janesville, pleaded guilty to fifth-degree criminal mischief and was fined $50. He was accused of damaging a window at 526 Adams St. on Oct. 1. Richard Aimer Henkle, 53, of 803 River Forest Road, Evansdale, pleaded guilty to assault and was fined $30.

He was accused of assaulting Connie Lorene Henkle at his home on Sept. 24. Yvette Howard, 24, of 1909 E. Fourth pleaded guilty to assault and was fined $25. She is accused of acting in a manner that caused potential harm to herself and others at her home on Oct.

2. Michael Lavender, 18, no permanent address, pleaded guilty to voluntary absence and was sentenced to 48 days in the Black Hawk County Jail with credit for 48 days served. He was accused of leaving the residential facility on July 26. Brian Harry Keairns, 22, of 3521 Springvalley Lane, Cedar Falls, pleaded guilty to fifth-degree theft and was fined $50. He was accused of stealing a $20 shirt from Carson Pirie Scott on Sept.

29. Dennis Dean Dirks, 48, of 12542 La Porte Road, La Porte City, pleaded guilty to assault with intent to commit injury. He was fined $200, received a 30-day suspended sentence and placed on one year of self-probation. He was accused of assaulting his wife, Janet Dirks, on June 18 at his home. John Henry Becker, 25, of 314 Norma Evansdale, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and was fined $25.

A charge of interference in connection with the same incident was dismissed. He was arrested for his actions while police were arresting his wife on Feb. 11. Craig Lee Cook, 22, of 514 Beverly Hill, pleaded guilty to fifth-degree criminal mishchief and was fined $50. He was accused of damaging a gas pump at Pester Derby, 508 Broadway by kicking it on Dec.

7. Casey Culver, 25, of 1104 Williston pleaded guilty to fifth-degree theft and was fined $25. He was accused of failing to return a rental movie to Wolter Mini Mart, 324 Fletcher on Nov. 8. Mervin O.

Cowan, 94, of the Lutheran Home, formerly of 403 W. 22nd will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Lutheran Home chapel with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Mr. Cowan died of natural causes Monday night (Oct.

17) at the Lutheran Home. He was bom June 30, 1894, in Independence, son of Henry and Dolly Caldewell Cowan. He received a bachelor's degree from UNI and did graduate work at Iowa State University. He was an industrial arts teacher at LeMars High School for many years. Survivors include two brothers, Glenn of Laguna Hills, and Clay of Mesa, Ariz.

Welter Services "for Vincent C. Welter, 61 of 1717 Hawthorne will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. Edward Catholic Church with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery with full military rites conducted by the American Legion Post of and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post of Waterloo. Mr.

Welter died of natural causes Tuesday morning (Oct. 18) at his home. He was born Feb. 7, 1927, near Gilbertville, son of Theodore and Loretta Sondag Welter. He married Ann McDermott on May 5, 1953, in Waterloo.

He was a veteran of the Korean War. He was employed at Rath Packing Co. for 39 years until the plant closed. Survivors Include his wife; a son, Douglas of Waterloo; a daughter, Michelle Matheny of Van Home; three grandchildren; a brother, Ernest of Jesup and a sister, Norma Jean Colbum of Adair; he was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, LeRoy. A Scripture service will be 7 p.m.

Thursday at Oppold Funeral Home, where friends may call after 1 p.m. Thursday and from 8 30 to 10: 30 a.m. Friday. Memorials may be made to the church or Columbus High School. Ivy B.

VVeintz Memorial services for Ivy B. Weintz, 75, of Ravenwood Health Care Center, 2651 St. Francis Drive, will be 2: 30 p.m. Thursday at the care center with private burial in Shaulis Road Cemetery. She died of cancer Thursday (Oct.

13) at Covenant Medical Center at Kimball Avenue. She was born April 15, 1913, in Chicago, daughter of James L. and Julie E. Smith Weintz. She was manager and accountant for the Iowa Dress Club, retiring in 1960.

There will be no visitation. The Reams, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Henry Pearce Services for Henry Pearce, 74, of 1340 Huntington Road, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Wilmathsville Church, Wilmathsville, with burial in Wilmathsville Cemetery. He died Monday morning (Oct.

17) at Allen Memorial Hospital. The cause of death was not available. He was born March 20, 1914, in Adair County, son of. Manuel Hugh and Nina Mae Selby Pearce. He married Lillie Mae Byrn on Feb.

21, 1939, in Kirksville, Mo. He farmed for many years and was later employed by the Waterloo Public School System. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Carl and Paul, both of Waterloo, and Roy of Washburn; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; a brother, Clarence of War-rensberg, and two sisters, Norma Winters of Winnebago, and Lula March of Greentop, Mo. he was preceded in death by a granddaughter and a sister.
