V'vS. Bio Vof DEAN MARTIN Dino Tops Squad, Campbell Popularity Poll At Season's End 50 per cent of the votes on Tuesday would be listed ahead of a show that rated 45 per cent of the votes on another day. On this basis, Family Affair pulled the strongest audience of 1968-69 in Courier-land with an edge of 67.2 to Dean Martin's 61.8. However, Family Affairs rates only sixth when readers are asked. to list their favorite shows of the season in one lump.

ALSO, JULIA, Mayberry RFD, Here's Lucy, As the World Turns, Carol Burnett and Doris Day all rated in the top 12 for the season, based on audience percentage their particular day. But none made even the top 23 of total favorites for the season in this month's poll. Perhaps more people watch television on, say, Thursday evenings, when Dean Martin is on the air. This would account for more total votes for a program even if its percentage of the viewing audience that particular night would not be as high as the percentage registered by another program some other night. Your top 25 favorites of the year, as indicated by this month's poll, is published on this' page along with a summary of daily ratings as you submitted them month-by-month during the season.

We'll be back with another poll as soon as you've had a chance to look over the new season in the fall. By JACK BENDER Courier TV Showtime Editor YOU'VE OVERWHELMED us with ballots! But that's what we like. In our final "What Courier TV Viewers Think" poll for this TV season, readers divided some 2,019 votes among 162 shows in telling us what you liked best about the 1968-69 year just slipping into re-runs and summer replacements. Dean Martin was way ahead of the rest of the shows as nearly half of the people submitting ballots listed his among their favorite 10 programs. A new show, Mod Squad, was second with Glen Campbell, a summer replacement last year and now a regular show, coming in third.

A THIRD new show, Hawaii Five-O, came in fourth with Laugh-In fifth. Interestingly, Laugh-in finished strong but the Smothers Brothers whom many would feel appeals to the same audience failed to dent our list of the top 25. Judd for the Defense, which has been cancelled although there still is a chance for revival, placed seventh and other cancelled shows, Guns of Will Sonnett, Star Trek and Wild, Wild West attracted enough support to finish 17th, 22nd and 24th, respectively. NBC accounted for four of the top 10 shows but only seven in the top 25. ABC and CBS each had three in the top 10, but ABC added five more in the next 10 and one more at number 25 to lead the three networks in the total list.

CBS had eight programs on the select list. All movies, network, local and primetime, were lumped together as one listing. THERE ARE notable inconsistencies in this list, based on ballots submitted in the past few weeks, when it is compared to a compilation of the "What Courier TV Viewers Think" polls taken at other times during this season. There are several changes if we put all of the polls together, based on the percentage of readers who said they watched a particular show on a particular night. In other words, a show that pulled 'V.
