H. Wat son said a verdict in the death of Arthur Thomas Harmon, son of Mr. and Mrs. James E. Harmon.

Watson placed the time of death at around 6 a.m. He said there was still warmth in the body but the youngster had been dead a couple of hours when he was called to hold an incniest at the home shortly after 8 a.m. Watson said the family, new-! comers to the city, have been in Austin for about one month. They came here from Giddings and formerly lived in Alabama.

The parents said their dead son had twice been stricken with penu- moma since birth. Watson said an autopsy was ordered because the inquest failed to determine what type of illness caused the boy's death. The body was taken to Weed-Corley Funeral Home where arrangements axe pending. John Thorson, a familiar figure who sold newspapers in downtown Duluth, was found unconscious in his $20-a-month room Saturday. He died Sunday, of malnutrition. Cambria County Court said Monday the secretary had abused his discretion in suspending the license without investigating the situation. Testimony disclosed that Piurkowsky has driven motor vehicles for 23 years without an accident or traffic violation. He uses no special equipment when driving. Fruit Handler Bitten by Snake INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (AP)-A fruit handler was reported in crit ical condition today from a bite by a tropical snake. William H.

Reynolds, 36, said fellow workers asked him to get rid of the snake, found in a bunch of bananas at a produce ware house Sunday. I didn't get him right behind the head, and he bit me on the finger," Reynolds said. Scales is enrolled at the Orange Grove School here where the dead child's stepfather once was employed as a Janitor.
