Deborah Broadhetd who was injured in an auto accident near Bloomingburg several weeks ago has so far improved as to be able to sit up and expect soon to be removed from the hospital to her home in Brooklyn. Mrs. Broadhead is the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Broadhead, formerly of this place.

"During the World War, Mr. Bullen was a member of the U. S. Navy, and contracted a lingering: illness which made his residence at Saranac Lake imperative, and which eventually caused his death. He was well and favorably known here.

Celebrate Weddinjr Anniversary On Sunday a family dinner was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William L. Iiedfield at High View, The dinner was held in honor of the 4Gth wedding anniversary of the couple who married November 26, 1879.

The dinner was held Sunday in order that all members of the family could be present. Mr. and Mrs. Redfield were married at the Gowdey Homestead on North street by Rev. George Ly-decker, a former aster of the local Reformed church in the presence of 60 guests.

Of these but 12 are living today, Mrs. Redfield was a daughter of the late Mr. and James Coleman Uowuey, road between Deposit on route 17, has been completed and one side is now open for traffic. It is expected the entire road will soon be ready to be used. Tt is 8.6 miles in length.

The road has been closed ever since early in the summer, and it was necessary for autoists to use a ten mile detour over a mountain and several bad accidents occurred in which one person was killed. Mrs. Emma D. Kinne has returned from Tenefly, N. where she spent several days last week visitinir at the home of her uncle, George C.

The game between the girls' teams resulted in an easy victory for the visitors, the score being Ml. However, it was a different story when the boys' teams clashed. The home boys played a fast game and outplayed their at all points of the game. The final result was Bloomingburg, 13, Otis-ville 1.
