Wyatt presents The Bottom Line which features a showing of this documentary along with an interview with producer Linda Galloway Conner, a native Austinite. Conner, staff manager for Constituency Information for Southwestern Bell in St Louis, talks with Wyatt about her idea for producing the show, selling that idea to management and actually producing it.

"We wanted to do something for the young people," says Conner. "We don't want it to take them 10 or 15 years to learn the system, the way it did for most of us." The Bottom Line replays at 9 p.m. Friday on Austin Access Channel 33. Now in it's eighth year. The Bottom Line is produced by T.L.

Del Santo, locally known for his KUT radio show World Music, has performed with his own band The Professors of for 12 years. Host Pauline Bell talks with Del Santo about his musical roots, his role in bringing African and Caribbean music to Austin audiences, and the inspiration behind his creation of an internationally popular style of music.
