GLEAN EVENING TIMES. WEDNESDAY. MAY 23. 1928. SALAMANCA BRADFORD 15 Foot Fall i Proves Fatal Bradford, May 23--Mrs Eliza- bsth A.

Freeman. SO, of 51 Bank street, was almost instantly killed about 0 30 jcstcrdav morning and her daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Cook, Buffered serious scalp wounds and body bruises when both women Ml 15 feet from the second story jorch of their home to a sidewalk below after the col'apsc of the porch railing 1 Mrs Freeman In falling, struck the sidewalk on her head and suffered a fractured skull from which she died in 15 minutes Mr? Cook AVIIS taken to the Bradford hospital where she was treated by Dr Joseph Kcrvln and was removed to her home. The aged womsn who was assisting her daughter ith spring house cleaning work fell to her death in an attempt to the fall of Mrs Cook after witnessing the col- Japse of the railing Both lopplc 15 Feet Both vomcn were engaged in washing bed springs on the back porch ol their home when the rail- gave way without arning and Mrs Cook who wis nearest to the her balance and started to fall. Her mother attempted to prevent the accident but also lost her balance and both women toppled to the sidewalk, 15 feet beneath.
