Iowa ends eight-game Big Ten skid with upset of No. 18 Illinois By JIM NELSON Courier Sports Writer IOWA CITY A week ago, Iowa's 2007 season was on life support. But the Hawkeyes came to life and jumped off their death bed Saturday, playing their most complete game of the season in an 10-6 upset of 18th-ranked Illinois at Kinnick Stadium. Iowa (34 overall 1-3 in the Big Ten) rallied to take the lead late in the third quarter, then sealed the victory when freshman safety Brett Greenwood picked off Illinois' backup quarterback Eddie McGee at the goal line with 1 minute and 12 seconds to go.
