Helen Strauss Dies in Texas Mrs. Ernest (Helen) Strauss, 65, former Helena resident, died Tuesday in Beeville, according to word received here. She died on the same day that her grandson, John Zimmer, with the Air Force, stationed at Havre, arrived in Beeville for Christmas leave. Mrs. Strauss was born here July 23, 1902, the daughter of Oscar and Theresa Jacoby Scheewe.

She was reared in Helena. At the time of her death she was assisting her daughter in Theater by the school's Thespi-'l an Troup 745.
