Boyd, 66, of 114 Bonnie died Sunday, March 17, at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo, of natural causes. She was born June 4, 1929, in North Judson, daughter of Byron and Hazel Mae Case Johnston. She married Max S. Boyd on Nov.

27, 1946, in Cedar Falls. Survived by: her husband; two sons, Steven M. of Waterloo and Larry a daughter, Tina M. Boyd of Waterloo; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and a sister, LouAnne Lynch of Waterloo. Preceded in death by: a brother, Donald Johnston; and a twin sister, Delores Johnston.

Services: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, both in Cedar Falls. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today and 9 a.m. until Wednesday at the funeral home.

i Memorial fund: will be established. WATERLOO Betty Jensen, 70, of Waterloo, died Monday, March 18, at Covenant Medical Center from injuries sustained in a fire at her home. She was born Nov. 15, 1925, in Waterloo, daughter of Hans and Therae Christensen. She married Vernon Jensen on Feb.

9, 1947, in Waterloo. Survived by: her husband; two sons, Michael of Waterloo and Mitchell of Evansdale; two grandchildren; a brother, Jim H. Christensen of Cedar Falls; three sisters, Gladys Foughty of Arkansas, Leola Ludolph of Cedar Falls and Lois Holdiman of Dewar; and her stepmother, Mrs. Hans Christensen of Cedar Falls. Preceded in death by: four sisters and a brother.

Services: There will be no services; her body was cremated. The family will receive friends for a luncheon at 1 p.m. Thursday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball. CEDAR FALLS Loran L. Hyde, 84, of the Western Home, formerly of Waterloo, died at the home Monday, March 18, of cancer.

WATERLOO Richard Curtis Gilley, 81, of Williamsburg, formerly of Waterloo, died Sunday, March 17, at Mercy Hospital, Iowa City, of natural causes. He was born Dec. 21, 1914, in Waterloo, son of Richard R. and Inez R. Curtis Gilley.

He married Vilot Lukes. She died in 1961. He married Lucille Slaymaker on Nov. 22, 1967, in Williamsburg. Mr.

Gilley worked as a grocer for 30 years, during which time he owned Dick's By-Lo grocery store in Williamsburg, retiring in 1980. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Survived by: his wife; two sons, Curtis D. of Phoenix, and Stephen of Rio Rancho, N.M.; two stepsons, Richard Slaymaker of Millersburg and Tom Slaymaker of Williamsburg; a stepdaughter, Nancy Roberts of Williamsburg; and two grandchildren, nine stepgrandchildren and 15 step-great-grandchildren.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity United Church of Christ, rural Marengo, with burial at 3 p.m. in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Uhlmann-Powell Funeral Home, Williamsburg.

CEDAR FALLS Rose Scott, 92, of Arlington, Va formerly of Cedar Falls and Albia, died Sunday, March 17, at Hospice of North Virginia, Arlington, of natural causes. She was born Aug. 20, 1903, in Irwin, daughter of Anton and Celia Susa Pirnat. She married Harold S.

Scott on July 18, 1927. He died June 12, 1988. Survived by: a son, Harold R. of Fairfax Station, and two grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Preceded in death by: an infant son; three brothers, Albert, Anton and John Pirnat; and a sister, Mary Castings.

Graveside services: 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Highland Cemetery, Eddyville. There will be no visitation. Gilbert-Nordstrom Funeral Home, Albia, is in charge of arrangements. Memorials: may be directed to Hospice of Northern Virginia.

HUDSON Albina P. DrinOVSky, 94, of 13539 S. Hudson Road, died Monday, March 18, at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo, after a lengthy illness. She was born Feb. 9, 1902, near Traer, daughter of Mr.

and Mrs. Joseph Pecenka. She married William Drinovsky on Feb. 11, 1928, in Cedar Rapids. He died Nov.

16, 1986. Mrs. Drinovsky taught at rural schools in Tama County and at public schools in Clermont and West Union. Survived by: a son, Roger of Hudson; a daughter, Mary Henriksen of Buckingham; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Madalin Lucas of Keokuk. Preceded in death by: six brothers and four sisters.

Police Log Michael Todd Scullark, 33, of 446 Lane was arrested Sunday in the 700 block of Ansborough Avenue on complaints of possession with intent to deliver marijuana, interference with official acts and being a habitual offender. Joseph Terrance Farmer, 30, of 612 Rhey No. 2, was arrested Sunday at home on complaints of assault-domestic abuse, enhanced, and obstructing an emergency telephone call, after allegedly assaulting Rose M.

Ivory, 31, same address, Bruce Allen Radloff, 25, of 1658 Hyperion Drive, was arrested Sunday at home on a complaint of assault-domestic abuse after allegedly assaulting Marlene Zobel, 39, same address. Angelina Theresa Murray, 37, of 922 Brookside was arrested Saturday at Greenhill Road and Greenwood Avenue on a complaint of first-offense operating while intoxicated after officers received a report over a cellular phone of a possible drunken driver and stopped Murray at that location, Yvette Deann Wright, 29, of 1112 Lafayette Apt. 4, was arrested Saturday at the Target Store, 1501 E. San Marnan Drive, on a complaint of second-degree robbery. She allegedly stole a $59.99 cellular phone charger from the store and fought employees who stopped her outside.

He was a charter member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Waterloo. Survived by: a son, Jerry of Waterloo; six grandchildren and a great-granddaughter; and a brother, Laverne "Red" of Clermont. A bottle of Syrup of Ipecac, available at most pharmacies, should be kept on hand in case vomiting needs to be induced.
