Special attractions appearing on the program include the Mark TV, an International Medalist Quartet from San Antonio. The public is invited to attend the program. the producers of the Aqua Festival.

As honorary parade marshal, McMahon will lead more than 100 units down Congress Avenue in the 7:45 p.m. Twilight Land Parade. McMahon will be brought to Austin courtesy of Budweiser Beer and Austin's Brown Distributing Company. This summer, he has been a six-week guest host for NBC's "Kraft Music Hall" and is host of the daytime game show "Snap Judgment." Outside i broadcasting duties, McMahon is president of del Sol Productions, a creative design company. The company designed the Vatican Pavilion at the New York World's Fair.

A special machine at the marine automatically scales up to SO pounds of fish at a time, shutting off when the job completed. Anglers can then take their catch to the restaurant at the Visitor Center Building and have their fish cooked to order. Ed McMahon, sidekick ofj Johnny Carson on the "Tonight; Show" and guest star of the Austin Aqua Festival, will arrive in Austin Thursday between II p.m. and midnight on a private plane at Browning Aerial Service. Joe Wells, president of the Aqua Festival, spoke to McMahon New York Thursday.

He said that McMahon will leave for the airport immediately after the Aug. 1 taping of the "Tonight Show." Wells said, "Ed is excited about coming to Austin for the i Festival." McMahon was sent his official Skipper Pin and encouraged to wear it during the "Tonight Show." 40 Bauds To Rock At Festival Forty rock bands will compete during the 12-hour eliminations in the 1968 Austin Aqua Festival Battle of the Bands Sunday in the Municipal Auditorium. Due to the large number of entries, producer Mike Lucas of KNOW Radio has changed the starting time for the eliminations. Contestants try-J ing for cash prizes totaling $800 will each play 15-minutes from noon to midnight. Ten bands will be selected from the following group to enter the finals on Aug.

8 at 8 p.m. Bands entering from Austin are: "Arbor Vitae," "Cavaliers," "Chartreuse Afterflow," "The Cultural Entertainment Committee," "Ebonys of Austin," "The "Evolution of Experience." Also the "Georgetown Medical Band," "The Group," "Good Humor Ban "Grapes of Wrath," "Kim," "Mourning After," "The New Arts Band," "New Atlantis Hard Rock Band," "Peace Incorporated." Richard's Almanac," "Purple Carousel," "The Purple Heart, Radiant Set." And the "Sensational Souls," "Shadow of Doubt," "Shepherd's Bush," "Sons of Madonna." "Soul Crusaders." and at 7 p.m. in the Living Plaza of the Institute of Texan Cultures at HemisFair in San Antonio. The dancers are sponsored by District One, KJCT, of the Union of Czech Catholic Womeo of Texas and will be under the direction of Mrs. Lucille Klekar of Hallettsville. Among the dances to be performed is the traditional beseda, similar to the square dance of the early American West performed in squares of eight dancers.

One of the primary functions of KJCT is to teach the younger generation the tradition of the Czech culture and to perform the dances and rituals that were brought to Texas by their ancestors.
