Vineyard io celebrate first year Li. A vineyard has grown in Waterloo throughout the past year. It has grown to an enormous size, branching out to reach more than 3.000 young people. The Vineyard, the coffeehouse at Sun-nyside Temple, is celebrating its first birthday this week, and a special observance is planned for Thursday. A banquet will be followed by a special multi-media look at the first year of this unique coffeehouse, and a concert featuring the music of Alabama-based Truth.

THE VINEYARD was started by the Youth Ministry of Sunnyside in March of 1977. and at that time, it offered a variety of programs and services for youth The plush room complete with snack bar. stage, pool and ping pong tables, and professional lighting and sound systems, is open nightly except Mondays What began as an offshoot of the youth ministry, led by Pastor Timm Jackson, now offers a talent agency, custom silk screen company, tape ministry, counseling service, camps, retreats, a Halloween i ciA in Hon rv.fi. pie in seven nights, and a puppet ministry, which now boasts life-size puppets.
