DeMarco Murray scored four touchdowns, one on a 91-yard kickoff return, as No. 4 Oklahoma beat Baylor 52-21 on Saturday. Oklahoma (9-1, 5-1 Big 12 Conference) has not lost to Baylor (3-8, 0-7) in 17 meetings between the teams. Baylor lost its seventh straight game amid reports that its coach, Guy Morriss, would be replaced at the end of the season. Oklahoma entered the game fifth in the BCS standings, and when the final score from No.

1 Ohio State's loss to Illinois appeared on the Owen Field scoreboard moments before kickoff, the crowd roared. Then the Sooners went out and presented their case for moving up in the rankings. Murray contributed two highlight-reel plays, a 25-yard first-quarter scoring run and his kickoff return, which came moments after Baylor had pulled within a touchdown late in the first half. Murray, who had 13 rushes for 95 yards, is the first Oklahoma freshman to score at least three touchdowns in one game on three separate occasions. He has 15 touchdowns this season, tying the school record for freshmen set by Adrian Peterson.

Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford threw three touchdown passes, two to Manuel Johnson, who caught four passes for 126 yards and had the first multiple-TD game of his career. While the Sooners keep an eye on the BCS standings, about the only mystery left in Baylor's season is whether or not Morriss will keep his job. Two Texas newspapers, citing anonymous sources, reported this week that he would not be back in 2008. Baylor athletic director Ian McCaw has told The Associated Press that the status of Morriss' future hasn't been determined. Nebraska 73, Kansas State 31: The embattled Cornhuskers fi- had no complaints about Callahan.

"It's his job to coach his team," Prince said. "It's my job to try and stop him." Kansas State (5-5, 3-4) hadn't given up so many points since a 75-28 defeat to Oklahoma in 1971. Nebraska's 702 yards was the most since the 1995 team had 776 against Iowa State. Iowa State 31, Colorado 28: Everyone in Jack Trice Stadium watched in confusion as the Buffaloes' Kevin Eberhart first made a 50-yard field goal that was negated, then made 55-yarder that was called off because time had run out, allowing the Cyclones to escape. "I've been in a lot bizarre games," CU coach Dan Hawkins said.

"This might be close to the top. But I can tell-, you: We snapped it before it got to zero." The wild sequence came after Iowa State (3-8, 2-5) matched its biggest comeback since a 1989 win over Missouri by scoring 31-second half points to erase Colorado's 21-0 halftime lead. Colorado (5-6, 3-4) cut the lead to three on Cody Hawkins' 9-yard touchdown pass to Scott McKnight with 2:40 left. The Buffaloes' defense held and Colorado got the ball at its own 28 with 46 seconds left and no timeouts. Hawkins drove them to the Iowa State 33, but Tyson DeVree couldn't get out of bounds on a third-down reception, so the field goal unit had to rush onto the field.

Eberhart's kick fluttered through the uprights, but Colorado was called for delay of game for snapping the ball before it was blown into play. The officials marched off 5 yards, put a second on the clock and Eberhart made the longer kick. But officials ruled time had expired before the ball was snapped. McAnderson's 12-yard touchdown run on the Jayhawks' next possession made it 33-14. Robinson rallied the Cowboys with a 39-yard touchdown pass to Tommy Devereaux, and a his 4-yard TD run got Oklahoma State within 33-28 with 13:08 left. Henry once again had the answer. He kept Kansas' ensuing drive going with a diving third-down catch that set up a first-and-goal, then got open running across the back of the end zone on another third down, for a 4-yard TD catch to make it 40-28.
