"With its rough concrete floor and banks of windows, it's a marvelous setting for new dance, but it has its challenges for the dancers." Their adaptability is well-known. The dance's title and inspiration springs from Jorge Luis Borges' poem "The Cyclical Night," which delves into life cycles and the continuity of eternity. Bustamante says he envisions the warehouse as an urban street scene where excitement looms in the night air. The production includes a mixture of lighting, music and video that complements the choreography and space.

William Meadows, who designed the sound for "Court 6," will once again create a unique sound for the new dance. Seating is limited for "The Cyclical reservations are encouraged. second-place "NBC Nightly News." Fox does not have a network newscast. As co-artistic director of SharirBustamante Danceworks, Bustamante creates intriguing combinations of bodies moving through time and space in a variety of venues. From traditional proscenium stages to empty swimming pools and racquetball courts, Bustamante sees no boundaries for stage settings.

"In choreographing for a theater, you are dealing with a large, abstract space," Bustamante said. "A site work is like having an instant set, which affects the structure of a dance." Bustamante appreciates the challenges associated with alternative dance spaces and says it helps promote his artistic and technical explorations. "One analogy is a painter changing from very large canvases to miniatures," he said. "You have to change your whole perspective and approach. The same applies to choreography." "The Cyclical Night" offers the choreographer such a challenge, since it is created specifically for the Brink Design Warehouse, a large metal structure on East Cesar Chavez Street.

Central Texans are almost divided between NBC affiliate KXAN Channel 36 and affiliate KVUE Channel 24 when it comes to local news. In the just-released local Nielsen ratings from February, edged KXAN by a single rating point in total households lat 6 and 10 p.m. The slim victory KVUE continues a year-long period in which KVUE and I KXAN have run virtually neck and neck.
